I think Austin missed an important point. When you go through a dopamine detox you’re going to hit big lows on the way, feeling depressed and down for a few days or weeks is completely normal. The key is to withstand these feelings and eventually you will feel better than ever

No you won’t lol it doesn’t make you feel better at all but you’ll get peace of mind knowing this isn’t the end and bigger is coming how do I now I’m going through it now and I’ve been in grind mode for like a year I’m just telling you that it doesn’t go away not a disagreement

This is a product of watching too many videos. You buy into these things when u don’t have to. It can be slightly true but you reinforce it by accepting it as truth. The same with nofap flatline.

Cold showers have worked wonders for me! Been doing it for a month now and I know it’s anecdotal but my tolerance built QUICKLY! If you can handle it, everything will change around day 5. Day 1 sucked but I felt so good when I got out I couldn’t stop laughing lol try it!

Great video man, its easy to fall into the trap of self help and deleting all social media, going monk mode etc but I also believe in balance, nothing wrong with checking social media when you dont abuse it

Meditating on the word of God and praying to Jesus every day will also help you get rid of any bad habits tempering with your Dopamine. There is a blessing and peace of mind that comes from praying to higher spiritual force. It is a natural Dopamine enhancer.

I agree with all this. Fuck video games, fuck weed (I say this as a stoner of 10 years, trying to quit now, successfully quit video games a few years ago and replaced it with the gym.) I need to also reduce my KZitem consumption as well. Good video.

Just quit video games 2 weeks ago and been going to gym instead as well. This comment really gave me a boost in my mindset that I'm doing the right thing. Cheers.

@@FuzzyPinkPolarBears you are bro, video games is the heroin of gen z and millennial men. It’s robbing them of precious time they can use to improve their body, mind and go and find a mate. It literally provides basically no value but cheap dopamine. Weed too which is why I’m trying to quit that now too. Good luck brother.

Does anyone have an advice for pull ups. My current PR on pull ups is weighted 63 kg + my bodyweight 81 kg, I have a problem with the top par of the pull up, in the bottom portion I am really explosive, but at the top I have a problem to get the chin fully over the bar, it seems, like im just a little bit off, how to strengthen the top part?

@@JejewwuWjuwususs Thank you, I have been working out for quite some time, 4 years close to 5, but weighted pull ups I have started recently taking really seriously, because they work good for me. 20 pull ups is really impresive, awesome bro.
