You`re realy an artist but beside that, it`s realy nice to see your progress from videos two years until now, back then you didn`t have all the tools, little tricks of trade you know now and your these days level of craftsmenship. Awesome!

I found that video both entertaining and instructional. The copper inlay on this ring is beautiful. I am trying to learn to turn rings my health is such as I am unable to stand for long periods, so turning anything big is out of question. If you have the time please pot your supply site or if you would a reply. Turning something this small can be done from a sitting position. It would be a great help to an old man starting out on a new endeavor.

One of the reasons I started watching your videos regularly is that your voice, the video editing, and the music you choose during your process are meditative. I love watching the raw materials come together to make something that looks awesome! Also, I understand you are not just doing this "for me" and that you are wanting to support yourself through sponsors like SquareSpace. However, "taking the opportunity" to talk about your sponsor in the middle of the core reason I watch your videos disinclines me to watch them. I find myself skipping what should be the best part! The purpose of a sponsor is for me to think "I like what Patrick does and he likes [sponsor]. I need what [sponsor] is offering, so I'll check it out!" If that's a need for me, I'll check it out even if it's at the end of the video. Please stop putting your sponsor spiel in the middle of what should be the best part of your videos! I'm downvoting for this reason.

I gotta say, I just love watching the ring making process! It's fascinating to see what the steps you go through are. My only complaint would have to be the $$$ of your rings, which isn't much of a complaint. I did some research, and your rings actually cost less than the market retail value. Anywho, I hope to see more of your videos in the future. :)

I actually have two pretty cool ideas the first one you can make two combining rings each half could be something different obviously if you're choosing and then they could connect to create one awesome ring. The second idea is because I've seen your work before and I was wondering if you had seen the show Voltron on Netflix and if you could make five different rings for each of the Lions.

He uses the harbor freight 7x10 metal lathe with an after market tool post. Definitely the most affordable metal lathe you'll find (less than $400 with a 20% off coupon) and after a few adjustments it works great for ring making (though it probably isn't a great choice for precise tolerance machining work)
@neptaniumtitan2618

I guess DIY is a more flexible term now... how the hell am I supposed to get tungsten ring blanks, glowstone powder, 2400 grit sandpaper, and miliwhatever diamond paste? Don’t get me wrong, this was an entertaining and cool video that made an exceptionally cool ring, but I don’t have a hope in hell in doing this myself.

Jason Bradley well you can get a pack of sandpaper off amazon for $7 up to 2000 grit. Patrick sells ring blanks on his sight for like $30 along with all the inlay materials. All you need is the diamond polish which can probably be found on amazon too
