He's right the planes of today are whimpy. First of all those older jets of the 60s and 70s had a much stronger airframe and l've been told so by airline mechanics and boeing and airbus ceos. Another dissapoinment is these newer planes dont fly as fast as the older ones. Ive also seen fully loaded DC9s and 727s do extremely steep take offs on short roll , mean while these new generation of planes take forever to get off the ground snd up in the air , plus with all the defects in dreamliners and the 737 max l really question ther safety.

@@knarf_on_a_bike What makes a 200 better than, say, a 500? Besides the fact that they are old and cheap to obtain the only advantage I can think of is that the engines aren't positioned to suck all the dirt and gravel on the runway up, unlike newer 737s.

Unfortunately, due to "noise pollution, local governments and Authorities and even the local population in cities and towns killed off those historic legendary planes, NOT the air carries, because, even when we know that the aviation tech has to evolve, ANY plane can continue to fly for years and years, as long as they have their engines and parts, equipments and instruments checked and maintained every 3-6 months like an old car.
