I like the light on that I actually just ordered one on Amazon. It looks similar for the XPeak and yes, I’m keeping the XPeak I have worked a deal with Lectric to work with them. I’m looking into this wobble. Customer service is the most important thing when buying an E-bike , online . The only thing I don’t like about apps is the company can control your bike. I heard that one of the companies which I won’t mention took their bikes from class three down to class two and won’t let the people upgrade to class three don’t think that’s fair. I have one bike right now with a torque sensor but it’s a mid drive. I have a new bike coming the beginning of next week that has a torque and a Candace sensor and it’s a hub drive motor

@@Rip1Outdoors I do have my foot in the door though at Lectric no bikes are promised, but I’m in communication with the manager of the influencers we’ve been swapping emails on a regular basis. And we actually negotiated a deal on the XPeak exchange for working on, trying to solve the problem at least on the high step I did tell him that I would welcome the chance to work on the one on the step over also.

This is another good option for a cruiser. Seems a bit heavy, but that’s about the average weight of cruisers, I think. It’s certainly a beautiful looking bike. Just like the other bike, I love the swept back handlebars. Has me wondering if I could get that kind put on mine. The front lights on this bike at first reminded me of ET, then it was “Johnny 5” from Short Circuit. (Absolutely love that movie) Great review Richard. I could use you doing reviews on so many other products. You explain and show good detail. You have chosen lovely looking backgrounds when you get off the bike to do a review; water in the background, one with a yacht, the other with the pond and ducks. Beautiful skies with sun and puffy white clouds. Even when the sky changed, it was still beautiful.

Good review Rip. Ya, that 22 inch step over would be a deal breaker for me if I were in the market for another bike. I wish the Ocelot could be retrofitted with a torque sensor; that is the thing I like about the Freedare Eden.

Thank-you for your video, very informative. I am in Canada and will order this bike but I was wondering if you think It would be possible to install a brake light connected to the wiring and to the brake system so it lights up when you brake? I verified on Amazon Canada and they seem to offer some system as I understand that could do this, what do you think? If not, it is still a great quality bike! Thanks again loved your review!

Nice bike Richard - I’m buying the Saiga model and would like to buy a new stem for the handlebars before the bike arrives.I see the one you purchased has a fork diameter of 28.6 mm but Freedare is telling me it’s 31.8mm - can you confirm 28.6 is the one to buy please thanks
@Rip1Outdoors
6 ай бұрын
Steve the stem itself is 28.6 mm. The handlebar is 31.8mm. I typically use an adjustable stem that I can move to different angles for the best ride. I usually use an adjustable 90 mm such as this amzn.to/3ViWF2p. That may or may not be what you are looking for. This one comes in 90 mm and 110 mm. Hope this helps. Have fun with your bike.

Good to see them putting out a step through version that is still different than the step over. So many companies just have the same of everything, geometry, handlebar, etc. Sounds like they’ve actually change it up the geometry on the step through. Good job.

The top frame bar looks a bit lower than average. I would love to have seen you get off the bike, by NOT swinging your leg over the back. Any opinion on dismounting at a full stop? The specs don't show the bar height so I can only guesstimate, which doesn't work if I'm going to buy.

You're so right, I had this video confused with the Saiga you previously tested. That high bar frame, in comparison to the Eden step thru, looks a bit much for my 75 year old legs.Can I ask how you compare the Eden with the yellow Magicycle in the Saiga clip? I believe it's a Deer. That's a bike I'm definitely interested in as well. It strikes me as more nimble, but I could be wrong.@@Rip1Outdoors

@@Tom-xn2gu I think weight wise the deer is a bit heavier at 93 lbs. the dual suspension of the deer is great. I still love the torque sensor and the cruiser frame of the Eden. I have a full review of the deer on my channel. Will try to post a link
Excellent video, Richard! I could feel your enthusiasm for the quality Magicycle brings to their products. For my needs, thanks in part to you, I've decided - finally! after several weeks of hesitation - to buy the Ocelot Pro. It's lighter size and, I think, greater nimbleness, is what I'm looking for. @@Rip1Outdoors

Checking it you can help. I sent Freedare $1299 to buy the Saiga bike. But they have not sent me any notification of tracking the order or eta. I’ve sent numerous emails asking for communication but they have not responded even though they say they will communicate in two days. Do you have any way to contact. It’s beginning to feel like I’ve been scammed.
