I love her energy. It’s decisively indecisive. She’s confident in what her problems are and what are good attributes and has a general idea of what she wants but when she has trouble explaining, she quickly looks to correct herself. She has no shame in correcting herself nor any shame poking fun at herself nor any shame complimenting herself. An “overly confident” person is often a narcissist and doesn’t like to admit when they are wrong. IMO, those people aren’t actually confident but pretend to be. Covert narcs, on the other hand, smother you with their (real, but exaggerated for effect) sense of low self esteem. Grandiose narcs manipulate by pitying you. @@miahconnell23 short answer: yes. But at first, after the first few ADHD mistakes you make, you may think it’s not. But after those first 30 days, during the few days between scripts, and then when you get a refill you will *really* notice. It’s all about expectations. It’s just meant to slow down your thinking and allow you to stick to the moment. GET THERAPY. Get a few wall clocks and maybe. Timer to just run while you shower. Everything needs to be in your line of sight. Keep keys, wallet and daily items handy in a container where you can see it. Everything is on a delay. Especially your emotions. I have more tips. I pray dearly that if you are on the fence and you do decide to take them-that you are the rare one to have 100% symptom suppression.

I’m going to look for a chemical testing lab because I had BRILLIANT success with ADHD meds fixing my “non-24 never ever ever could sleep-cycle the way most ppl do” PLUS I started getting tasks DONE (not soley creating “to do” lists on random junk-mail envelopes). But then i noticed some capsules missing, and some capsules tampered with, and things have not been as successful since then 😓😡🤷♀️

I like your interview style, Eric. You've got a light touch, patients and no particular agenda other than to invite people to share their humanity with us in their own terms and rhythms and inflections and you're able to remain centered and still and let them. And that is a gift. It's kind of a talent. I hope you re-interview many of the people you meet. I think more than just the sum of their stories and opinions and hopes and fears might manifest. We might find some become poets; others might become poems.

I only subscribed because of Myrna. Hey "Sharty Marty", your interview was a wild ride - you in that 50s dress while dropping lines that had me in stitches! You're like a ferret cat lady tarot card collector with a twist, and I can't help but think that maybe the high entry point into your bubble isn't always necessary. Sometimes, it's in the surprise, the unexpected "back door in the alley that leads to the best surprises". As an only child who's never been bored, I see the world through a different lens, always up for something new and intriguing. Your favorite person being your therapist? Classic. It’s like you’re daring the universe to keep up with your unique blend of charm and chaos. Keep doing you - you’re a one-of-a-kind firecracker, and I can't wait to see what historical, amazing things you come up with next. As a creative that has way too many ideas; I think with a little discipline, first starting with not touching your face #1. Greasy, sharty fingers up in your canvas and stuff. Like nasturbating leave that stuff to ikky nikky or picky Ricky, you. Anyway, if you lower your wall a little or promise not to stab me with a rhinestone pin if I sneak through your back door then maybe there is a possibility we could talkle a couple projects I have in mind. It's going to take your high caliber of epic to make it successful ! To keep it straight up Foreal. You My-N.R.A are extremely extremely extremely intelligent; like I'm pretty certain you are an Advanced human, Rare- Fresh & So Qween.

Thank you for saying this, throughout I felt like oh wow this girl is me if I'd started therapy 10 years earlier 😅 because we're "so rare" we don't find many other people like us, and it can feel quite isolating. Well I didn't expect the personable reply. Says alot about you Kat. We live in a fairly conformist world at the moment and people are often afraid of things that seem different. Variety makes life interesting. Or as a long dead family member was renowned to say in a Northam English accent, "There's nowt queerer than folk." meant in the old meaning of the word.
@johnp.johnson1541
6 ай бұрын
@@deepblue69uk Conformity is a feature human nature. Men have been writing about this since men could write. Lao-tze will tell you so if you bother to read the work attributed to him, the Tao Te Ching (~ 400 B.C.). And writing extends far before that date. Most are conformists. Most will be. So the notion of "at the moment" is false.
@deepblue69uk

@@johnp.johnson1541 I'm afraid I cannot agree. Whilst we do bind into tribes and similar culture you do get a certain amount of diversity within those groups. Not everyone likes the same music/fashion/hobbies/beliefs...etc. Conformity of thought, styles, behaviour, fashion etc do vary over time. So I think so say that it's entirely false, perhaps, misses the point I was trying to make. However, happy to agree to disagree.
