Goodness me! This really puts into perspective on the snippets of stories my late paternal uncle used to tell us in my childhood. He was a real spiritual man & a herbalist with such great skills. N was absolute in his belief that his ancestors were from Israel & Egypt. We used to laugh at him!😂Hmmmmm Thanks for sharing such wealth of knowledge 👍🏾

Now this makes so much sense. There are tribes settled today in East Africa ie South Sudan, North and North Eastern Uganda as well as North Western Kenya.... and these tribes also have the same history that they are Israelites. Their oral history states that they moved from Israel region, down to Ethiopia and spread to South Sudan, Congo, Uganda and Kenya. I think another group is believed to have moved on to Tanzania. I also noticed that the above tribes share similar names / vocabulary with some tribes in Ghana and the Igbos in Nigeria. This is no coincidence. Roman historian Josephus also wrote that Israelites fled southwards to escape Roman persecution. And today's Romans are the present day Europeans and Americans. Sounds familiar? One of the Bible books that was removed, Baruch, gives an account of how the Israelites lamented of their persecution and said they would migrate southwards from Israel region.

The Wa people of Ghana otherwise known as the WAALA tribe, occupy upper region District of Ghana.. Their headquarters is known as Wa.., meaning : Come in Idoma language. They're superbly intelligent and educated. Their region in Ghana is said to be one of the most developed region in Ghana.. History has it that they followed the Atlantic Ocean as Fisher men and traders to Ghana from the present day River Benue which they first settled together with their Confederate brothers Jukun, Bassa, Etulo, Igala and Idoma. But, historians believe they're fully part of Idoma family in view of their language of communication which has a lot of similarities with Idoma people of Southern Benue, Northern and southern part of Nasarawa State and as well as the Idoma people in Northern Cross River and middle Central Africa Republic. I'm still doing my empirical research on their origin. However, They practice more of Islam which may likely link them to Agatu people of Idoma ethnic groups in Benue State or, Idoma Noku, Alogo in Nasarawa State.

Hello Sir! I had an ex tell me the Gas were part of the Ewe in Togo but one of their leaders rebelled and had to part ways. This lead to the leader Aryee moving them to Accra. My Ex is half Ga and half Ewe. She further stated, Ewe started calling the Gas, Aryee (correct me if i am wrong) agbe meaning Aryee's decendants. The Ga did not like it and turned that phrase referring to the Ewe as Aryee Agbe which over time became Ayigbe. Please shed more light on this. I am here to learn not to criticize. Thanks

Maybe this confusion comes from the fact we need to distinguish between the Ga and Ga Adangbe. The latter group live east of Accra and although consisting mainly of Ga also incorporate a contingent of Ewe and another ethnic group, i forget which one. It would make sense if we believe that these two groups settled in what is now Ghana after taking different routes. There is one version of events in which it is narrated the Ga arrived by sea and those witnessing their arrival in large numbers exclaimed they look like an army of ants hence the term Nkranfo. This would also reinforce the idea that those who arrived by sea had little contact with any other ethnic group and hence have a less mixed population. Whilst the Adangbe side makes it understandable why they share names and other parts of their identity with the Ewe. I have an alternative narrative for the term Ayigbe summarised as thus a Ga king had gone to reside with the Ewes for one reason or other and when he was called upon to return he refused. The Ewe people conveyed this message to the Ga people but mispronounced it, Aryee will not come [return].

There is a Ga tribe in Togo but they migrated from Accra la to be precise to Southern Togo. You can find them in Glidji, Anehor & other places. Unfortunately, they could not maintain their Ga language & adopted the ewe language but maintain their tradition. Their leader who fled was called Kaikue (Kankue)
@kwawkwansah2452
3 жыл бұрын
@@NubiaDinkaNuer interesting information but this migration seems more recent. So appears unlikely to have had influence on the creation of the Adangbe. İt is like most coastal areas in Ghana even other parts of West Africa there are Ewe and Fante settlements because many of them were fishermen.
@flavienhinv3614

@@NubiaDinkaNuer You are right (they are called Gê/Guin in Togo/Benin). You can even find them in Benin (Cotonou, Nicoué- kondji, Ayi-Guinnou, Hillah-kondji...). There were also adangme migrations to the south of Togo. Some of Adan conserve their names and tradition but lost the language. They have a town called Adangbé at the north of Lomé. Thanks...

Hello bro Thanks for the short video about the origin of the GaAdagme. I have heard this narrative before, but I think for the sack of future generations, you need to research a bit more into which Ga leader Nii Ayi Kushi came to meet on the present Ga land and who set the seven states of the Gas before the arrival of Nii Ayi Kushi. Clue: not all the GaAdagmes went to Ile Efe when they left Benne in Nigeria. Thank you

Oh I see. I’ve been hearing Ille-Iffe people claim to be original descendants of Jacob but I thought that was just a joke. It sounds so refreshing to know that the “Ga” and Adangbe tribes are believed to have settled in present day Ghana from Egypt. My question though is this; why then does the Bible recognise the Dan tribe as part of the 12 tribes of Israel living in present day Israel. Which is which?
@gooddaughter3376
4 жыл бұрын
To what scripture are you referring when you say the tribe of Dan is presently living in the land of Israel? Zephaniah 3:10 explains the Israelites got scattered “beyond the rivers of Cush”. When we look at a map, we see the land mass found beyond the rivers of Cush is predominately sub Saharan continental Africa, not northeast Africa.
