Matt from cradle to spladle, Xavier going the distance despite a setback, and Tyler's attitude taking a step in the right directon. Love to see the development keep kicking ass 💪

Love the team feeling and the tears after Tys match ...and not during....he is starting to grow up.. so glad yall came out with more episodes! Ethan is hilarious! And reminds me of a few kids I've coached over 15 + years. Minnesota sending lots of love and prayers for another learning and healthy year. Great job Coach and Alex for the amazing content to show just how much wrestling is like family! A truly great sport

I'd be crying at that match with Ty. Remember the last match where he was down 2. This is what a real wrestler does at such a close one. Not taking away from any of the others, but this was one of the best matches I've seen. Also nice to see a team effort by all. These kids have muscle, not fat muscle.

Great wrestling Tyler, definitely showed a lot of maturity in that match. And I wonder why Ethan’s stomach was hurting, I’m sure it had nothing to do with the food he was eating!

I think the difference here for Tye was that he didn't feel the pressure of his own expectation to win. It was ok to lose. For this reason he was relaxed, and didn't panic when he was down. This match was a gift - if he can replicate that state of mind going forward he will be unstoppable.

Was he technically pinned? Maybe, maybe not, but damn close. And for more than a 3 count. Now can the ref split hairs on every close call, discuss it with the judges and watch the replay in a kids tourney? No, because a tournament would take a month. Love the new content. One of the best things is seeing a notification for new episode! Nicholas, on the first episode, edited by you I pointed out some things which "looked a bit off", and it looks like you took them seriously. What I liked the most, editing wise, was that slight blur on the outside part of video, the "previously on the grind". Awesome work, I like it. Keep it up :) Jason, a question for you or anyone familiar with wrestling: What is weight adjutsted ranking, and what is typical difference between competitors? How much do they gain or lose per match, and my one of the top questions; is there much difference between let's say 7100 and 7130 ranked player? Also, is there (or will there be) a public archive of footage? I'm a datahoarder, and I like saving as much content in case worst happens.
@JasonLayton
2 жыл бұрын
You can learn about weight adjusted ratings here: www.WellRunTournaments.com/faq To see what they gain/lose per match, checkout www.WrestlingRating.com , click rankings and then click on any competitor to see their recent ratings history. We do not yet have have a public archive of footage. Are you asking about the grind or just of the wrestling matches? Many of the matches can be found on flo or track wrestling, but they charge for it.
@free-time5679

@@JasonLayton thanks, i will definitely have a look at the rating system. As per public archive, many who post there edit them slightly, I think. If you guys had unedited, raw footage I'd save it immediately, for archival etc. I currently have over 40TB free space in one of my machines

am I the only one the is confused on how TY's opponent got Stall warning when it was Ty the was going to the edge? Should have been stalling on Ty sorry Just what i seen, other than that nice documentary.
@JasonLayton
2 жыл бұрын
The opponent is attempting to wrestle when they go out of bounds, so I wouldn't have made the calls. Neither wrestler was stalling. This was a call that went in our favor.
@MC-yy7lo
2 жыл бұрын
@@JasonLayton The first stalling call was when Ty was on top & had the kid in a Jacobs trying to left hip over. In the show, it says he got the stall on the first ride out of bounds which is not correct. This ref always calls stalling right away, but he calls it very consistent, he is my favorite ref, pushing the action.
