honestly from working in production and close with high profile celebs, situations like this are alllll too common. the panic attacks, declining physical/emotional health, walking on eggshells, barely being treated like a human. it almost always starts out kinda fun and eventually boils down to the absolute worst work environment. the level of secrecy around the rich & famous only adds to the feeling that you can’t complain, or people think you’re purposely trying to cause drama to sue and get famous yourself. it sucks lmao

I worked at TSJF in fall of 2018 as a production and costuming intern. At the time, the working environment (to me) genuinely felt warm and exciting and fun. I loved my time. However, as interns, we were mostly shielded from direct interactions with him so likely didn't see much of this. What I can say though is many people came and went while I was there due to burnout, including an incredible showrunner who had been with Jimmy for years. I heard from other interns who got brought on as staffers that the environment did worsen significantly with new showrunners, and that Covid impacted the show's environment the worst. Biggest thing I can say though is that the erratic behavior has always existed due to a certain drug that it was an open secret Jimmy was always on.

I think the natural conclusion many people arrive at is that in these corporate environments theres a lot of abuse because of the size of the companies, the fact that profit comes before everything, etccc but actually small businesses are full of tyrants who mistreat their employees. Most small businesses and startups dont have HR departments and theres even less accountability. That said, all these major corporations should be fully nationalized so they are accountable to more regulatory bodies that will protect workers
