Cherry picking from scientific models and ignoring key aspects of theories to prop up an unconvincing argument. I find it rather frustrating to see scientific theories used in such a hamfisted fashion. I imagine it is similar to the way a Christian feels when the Bible gets quoted out of context. I'd love to hear a realistic rephrasing of the argument. I imagine it is something like this 1.We have no idea if causality can be applied to the beginning of space time and therefore causality itself as causality implies time. 2. We don't like saying we don't know. 3. We do like the idea that god did it. 4. Therefore god did it. I also think that misrepresenting scientific theories and their implication as a little dishonest.
