Love the Rocky Gorge. Did you know that a while back that bridge was actually moved and had to be rebuilt. That pond is the hidden gem of that spot. So many people stop and turn around at the bridge.

I love that area too it is actually my favorite place on the whole scenic drive. I did not however, know that the bridge was moved! That is indeed a fun fact. Also I agree that hidden gem is perfect and people just don't know it exists.

Thanks for sharing your video. Excellent narrative. If I see a video 20 minutes long, I rarely watch the entire thing. Yours is great!

Thank you very much for watching! Just a quick tip if you are going in October, it is extremely busy so if you can take the drive earlier and during the week that will help. However, the scenery is second to none so enjoy this incredible road! Have fun on your trip.

I've been there many times amazing area, especially in the fall. I thought you were going to show the Kancamagus Highway more NY the title because it's a beautiful drive and the stop areas are incredible. That would be a great video, may catch a lot of views as well to show the drive and stop areas on a clear day. I am actually heading up to Jackson for a few days on the 10th of Nov with family and will be taking the Kancamagus

Yeah that's always the interesting thing about traveling you can't always have perfect weather. We have been many times when the sky was clear. It was beautiful and we have been countless times. We noticed not enough people make the time to stop and hike so we wanted to showcase the amazing stops along the way. Enjoy your trip!

I have a question, is the Rocky River Gorge free, or you have to pay? Thanks!
@adventuringinthemoment

The Kancamagus Highway is free to drive but there is a $5 day pass for parking. So if you plan on making these stops along the drive including the Rocky River Gorge, you will have to have the $5 day pass.
@st-lucia

@@adventuringinthemoment oh I see. Free to drive, day pass for parking. If you could still remember, do the Glen Ellis Falls and Cathedral Ledge also operate on the same system, or you had to pay separately as well? Thanks!
@adventuringinthemoment
2 ай бұрын
@@st-lucia Yes, so Glen Ellis Falls never required any type of parking pass when we have gone, but Cathedral Ledge had a small fee as well. I did that a different time then the Kancamagus Highway so I am not sure if this is just a day pass for all of the parking areas in the White Mountains National Forest or not. I do know that you can pay for Cathedral Ledge when you go to Echo Lake State Park which is at the foot of Cathedral Ledge and the state park system would be different then the national forest. So long story short it will be a minimal fee if anything to go to all of those places, and are all pretty easily assessable in one day too. I hope that clears things up for you.
