Unfortunately, it's far from the worst thing that London police officers have done recently. The Met has seen countless cases of officers committing sexual assault, let alone a confirmed rape/murder, just in the past year. In the latter case, the offending officer had prior (related) convictions. At this point, I don't know if it can ever be fixed.

It doesn't surprise me you have autism. Basically, what the lawyer was trying to achieve was build his client's defense in any way possible. Claiming that your client suffers from a mental health disorder will convince the judge to give him a lighter sentence, because it will persuade the judge that the criminal wasn't 100% sound of mind and his actions may have been influenced by his condition. Celebrity is going to be high profile due to the nature fir some reason people fawn over them. Nothing new under the sun there. I will state though that as someone who has worked with (not for) law enforcement you have to understand that they don't have the resources or manpower to go running off after every missing persons case/request. The number that get reported are staggeringly high and most turn out not to be. Especially within a 24 hour period and no evidence of nefarious behavior to go on. That with the addition of defend the police movements that have gone on since right around this timeline and you can maybe see why they didn't jump right on it. Just a little perspective. The way you walked us through those wonderful sisters lives really did them justice and made it hurt when we had to remember and hear of their passing. I wish anything at all had been done in those brief moments that could have saved these girls lives. My jaw dropped several times throughout this case. But the utter callousness of these two police officers simply broke my heart. These two beautiful sisters who had unconditional love for each other were brutally murdered. THEN the police officers that were supposed to serve and protect decided to take photos and demean them and their family. Absolutely disgusting. I did recently read that they have been attacked in prison several times by other inmates. While I don’t condone violence of any kind, it does make me feel like they are getting what they deserve.

As a father, I think the police took too long to react. As a practical person I think the police get innumerable missing persons reports, most of which resolve themselves, and they could never feasibly follow up on all of them immediately, so I can't say they can be held accountable in that sense. Honestly, we need a new professional missing persons task force that focus solely on those reports, and once criminal activity has been detected, then police should get involved. As far as the dudes taking selfish with their bodies, f**k them and that group chat. That's bulls**t and pure nonsense. Everyone on that group chat needs reprimanding and anyone sharing dead body photos should be up for termination. Unacceptable.
@Scion141

After watching this channel, and a few other true-crime channels, I have learned one thing that seems to be universally true; you cannot rely on the police to help you. This crime, along with too many others, makes me understand why public executions were a thing. Talk, threats, fines, parole, jail; all of these pale in comparison to the effectiveness of seeing a fellow criminal swing until he stops kicking.
@hollyleehenry2766
2 жыл бұрын
Imho, if a country is going to execute its citizens then they should do it openly and not hide it. Unfortunately, I feel some crimes are not punished harshly enough while others are over kill, sometimes quite literally. After becoming a true crime aficionado I have seen so many cases of juries that are not aware of what "reasonable doubt" is and have read (not 100%) that 1/10 of the executed in the US could be innocent. BUT, like I originally said. If we are going to have capital punishment, don't hide it, show people the reality and gravity of the consequences of one's actions.

It is so bizarre to me they just danced the night away in a public park in todays London with crime, murders, knife violence at its peak. Not trying to blaim the victims of course, they were too goddamn innocent for this world it seems... but im a grown ass man and would be cautious to even walk through a park in London at night. They seemed like such lovely women but seriously wtf were they doing there.

@@aw2584 I have lived in London for many years and I would never ever dear to walk across a park in the middle of the night let alone party there, they are so dark and very poorly lit, plenty of bushes and hideous 😱, I also been told by my Londoner friends that many nasty things happen in those parks, people taking drugs, having sex, gang meetings, people sleeping in the bushes. I wouldn’t walk through a park at night even if they paid me😱. When I was younger and more naive I used to ride the night bus and walk home alone at night all the time, now I only leave if I can afford the cab to and from my house directly.

You painted such a vivid picture of those two amazing women I genuinely forgot I was watching a true crime video, I was so swept up in their personalities! It was such a gut punch when I remembered what channel I was watching. RIP to those two bright, beautiful ladies, and I hope the Smallman and Henry families are healing as peacefully as possible.

I love bird houses, so I've hung a new bird house in my backyard in memory of these two beautiful souls. Each Spring new life will be brought into this world in their memory. May they both rest in peace.

This case really pulled at my heart-strings, I nearly cried so many times! Two wonderful individuals taken from this world, and those cops wanted to disrespect those women by take selfies with their bodies and posting about it? Innocent people dead, and that's where they went with it, just wow. Thank you for naming them, I hope they *never* get to go a day without regretting that abhorrent behavior, and the judge better throw the book at them for it! And as someone that is involved in the occult and interacts with the entities of the Ars Goetia, I'd bet Lucifuge Rofocale would've never agreed to that kind of agreement in the first place, and is probably angry over his involvement. Those entities don't want human sacrifices, that information comes from religious smear campaigns, and any available information on them outside of the church being corrupted. I know it doesn't matter, due to those poor innocent women dying in such a brutal manner, but maybe someone thinking of something similar to this guy will see this and know better.

What a disgusting human. 37 years is not sufficient punishment for the loss of two beautiful women. Why should he ever have the opportunity to rejoin society after what he has done. I hope his demon is waiting for him in hell 😡😡😡

This one really hit home, possibly because it’s in my country, but also because the victims and their mother seem like such amazing, strong people. They didn’t deserve to die like that, or for those two pricks to disrespect their memories. I’m glad those two officers are both in prison now, which will likely make it impossible for them to work in any decent jobs again once they’re released. At least there’s some justice… RIP Bibaa and Nicole.
