It’s likely the reason he reverts into a husk of his former self, was do to him over using his accursed blood. Since blood is a symbol of life and the crucible is heavily tied to it and since Morgott used every drop of his blood he no longer resembles what he used to be. It’s very similar to berserk’s apostles.🤔🐱

I always assumed that he shriveled because we take his great rune, which greatly increases health. Without the benefits, he's small and sickly. But I didn't consider him expelling all of his blood! That does make a lot more sense with the loss of his omen features.

So before godrick left Lyndell he took the mimics veil. Morgott is the veiled monarch. Was he using the veil to mimic a human/regular appearance? Godrick used it to hide amongst the women. Maybe that's why margit was at godricks door.

I think the Greater Will wanted the player character to become the new consort to Marika but Radagon tried to make it so that no other Elden Lord would exist, hence the thorns in front of the tree. I think it also realises that it can't manipulate you like it did with Radagon and therefore sends the Elden Beast as one last attempt to destroy you. IDK that's just my theory on it.
@glorytoukraine5524

@@facundovera3227 Maybe it wanted us to fight, not necessarily win. As Gideon said, The Greater Will wants the Tarnished to keep fighting forever. Most likely, so the erdtree could have souls to eat. I like to believe that the greater will had purified Morgott's curse when beaten by us, the tarnished. That's why he loses the horns and tail, imo. It just makes sense that the greater will would want a being, one that strong and devoted, to be absorbed into the erd tree. The line of grace tracing, that extends from Morgott's dispersed body, points from Godfrey to you, and I LOVE that it's either the (more probable) Great Will or (still probable) Morgott probably telling Godfrey to kill you to advance in his quest.

Morgott is my favorite character and boss in Elden Ring. Dude is damn near everything a man should strive to be: strong, loyal, courageous, unrelenting in devotion to his duty. He's a hero, cursed from birth, yet still he gives himself for the family and the God who abandoned him, rising past all those who would look down on him. He could've turned to hatred like his brother deep down in the sewers, but he didn't. He chose the path of the righteous. I'm no joke naming my first kid Margit.

I can't confirm it personally, but I've heard that if you beat Morgott before meeting Margit, then Margit won't be there. What if morgot looks all skinny and malformed because he stores his accursed blood in his staff which at half phase his omen dung stuff that went all over is his unsealed blood becoming even more unstable do to takin exponential amounts of damage, so his messed up form can be due to the extreme blood loss of his accursed blood tis why he looks all juiced squeezed of his life essence, squeezed of his blood, so technically with this theory we didn’t exactly kill morgot but his very unsealed blood did being also that he wasn’t blessed by the blood god

I actually like Morgott, his loyalty to the Golden Order may be misplaced but his dedication and will are commendable. Mogh on the other hand dies the minute I'm able to kill him, absolutely vile character, just completely reprehensible. Dont know if Malenia is that simple,she is basically the game's biggest heroine but at the same time committed probably the worst thing in the shattering war. Also she losing her sense of self and pride during the war is a pretty big theme between the demigods especially her abd Rykard. I dont think she is the most complex(that is Ranni)but i also dont think she is simple same for every other demigod(maybe Radahn being the only simple one given we barely have information about him).
@TheHonoredMadman

malenia is pretty straightfoward but thats just my opinion going off what i know about her. and i dont see what heroic acts shes done. besides defeating godrick(not much of a feat, more like whipping a beat dog). she "beat" radahn which caused a nuclear explosion forever damning the region, and i agree though i find every demi god interesting in their own way,
@lordanonimmo7699

@@TheHonoredMadman Also about Ranni she doesnt sacrifice her friends for the greater good,what happened to Iji and Blaidd is outside her control. Malenia fought for Miquella's vision of the world,basically a version of the golden order without the extreme racism,you can see Misbegotten praying at statues of her and Miquella,she is also like Radagon in a lot of ways but thats another topic. I think its very interesting theort and i am inclined to agree that Godfrey rune passed down to Morgott,i am thinking if the great runes are decided from birth or Marika actually tought wich one she was gonna give to each demigod,i also really like how Morgott rune is the purest and the only one not corrupted or degraded.

Madman am I crazy for thinking Marika+Radagon might be an Ancient Dragonlord in human form? I say this cuz 1. We know there were multiple Dragonlord esque dragons in the past (Farum Azula cliff face ) 2. Their skin is stone, 3. One of Placidusax's head is a female according to some code.

@@udobybreak6393 I’m also seeing the Numen Rune saying, “The Numen are said to have come from outside the Lands Between, and are in fact of the same stock as Queen Marika herself.” Be that as it may, perhaps they are descended from the dragons. They’re elf-ish and the Onyx/Alabaster Lords are elf-ish too, so maybe they’re two halves? But while the Onyx Lords have skins of stone like dragons, they come from a meteor. The only unarmored Numen I’m aware of is Marika, who does look stone-y but she’s also carrying the Elden Ring within her…
