This animated lecture is about the Law of Conservation of Momentum.
Q : What is Momentum?
Ans: Momentum is defined as the cross product of mass and velocity. Velocity is a vector quantity; hence, momentum is also a vector quantity. The S.I unit of momentum is Kgm/s.
Momentum just tells the quantity of motion present in a body.
Momentum depends on mass and velocity. When mass or velocity of an object changes, its momentum changes.
