the way this is actually kind of blowing my dumbass mind rn. I've been playing guitar for like a year and a half without a teacher and trying to figure out how to make that leap from just being able to play songs I learn well to really understanding guitar and music as a whole to improvise and write has been a struggle because I just can't get myself to learn through youtube videos but books actually seem like such a good idea and something I'd be able to wrap my mind around better. thank you girlie ur beautiful💪

You took those ideas and created something with your own style that can be used for songs now or for future projects. Make sure you save each one of these riffs and song parts then back them up onto another drive for safe keeping. Going to the library was well worth the effort and can see you using more of their resources as time goes on. Keep at it with this life long learning journey of music and playing the guitar.

Really cool dive into what you found! That ascending/descending snippet sounded *huge*. I instantly called to mind what could be done with some synth pads, drums, and vocals, and it would hit like a truck after a long buildup. The dynamic potential is insane, good stuff!! Edit: I forgot to add, you make a really great point about adding other elements of a mix into your ideas. Drums and bass can completely transform a guitar idea. It's frustrating to have to do it all yourself if you don't have other musicians to bounce off of, but even a basic familiarity with laying down other tracks can give you some really different takes on a single idea! I think you're really gaining a lot of insight to making your own stuff, you got this!

8:15 It sound like you are not using you GPU to export/encode your video files. I am assuming the GPU that broke was a Nvidia GPU (The most common once). Depending on what software you are using you might want to look for Nvidia NVENC (Assuming you get a new Nvidia GPU) or Intel quick sync (Assuming an Intel CPU). replacing a GPU is relatively easy (super easy if you know what you are doing), thus depending on what games you play on the pc and if you would be ok baying a second hand GPU, you could probably replace it for ~200-300$. For 1100$ you get a very fast GPU, and I don't think you have that without knowing that you have a super powerful pc 😂. To make it easy I would start by looking at what power cables the old GPU used. And maybe buy a GPU with the same power connector. They you just take out the old one and put in the new one, probably reinstall drivers, and move the DP cable from the motherboard to the GPU and you should be good to go. It is much easier that learning to play the guitar.
