@Val's Whitewolf Media With tuppence for paper and strings You can have your own set of wings With your feet on the ground You're a bird in a flight With your fist holding tight To the string of your kite Oh, oh, oh! Let's go fly a kite Up to the highest height! Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring Up through the atmosphere Up where the air is clear Oh, let's go fly a kite! When you send it flyin' up there All at once you're lighter than air You can dance on the breeze Over 'ouses and trees With your first 'olding tight To the string of your kite Oh, oh, oh! Let's go fly a kite Up to the highest height! Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring Up through the atmosphere Up where the air is clear Oh, let's go fly a kite!

Similar experience😢… I had a tendency to depression before but this movie, this song, saved me miraculously✨… A Spoonful of Sugar is really simple, but really profound… Maybe I just forgot, though there're sufferings we can't overcome, a spoonful of sugar still helps the medicine go down😌……

If there's ever a film to convince you that the music is essential to it's success.. it's this film. Seriously, if the music was anything but a triumph, this film would have failed. But those songs are the essence of this film. A scene on its own can't cause you to cry, but a song can. Now that is real power. The power of music!

The songs are absolutely magical in this movie. I love the language used, the way the characters' various perspectives are captured. "Feed the Birds, Tuppence a Bag" is particularly special.

One of the greatest films ever made. Many had reservations of casting American Dick Van Dyke as a British talking lead, but it turned out to be a great idea. And the songs in the movie was just unreal. In my opinion, it's one of the greatest movies ever made. The greatest in MY opinion? The Wizard Of Oz.

I cared for my niece very soon after she was born (both her parents worked and I was working from home at the time). She was a really fussy child and whenever she got really cranky, I would dance around and sing Fly a Kite to her and it always calmed her down. I had always loved the song, and seeing how she reacted to it just added to the magic. :)

This movie was made with love from some amazing craftsman working for the man himself, Walt Disney. Many films tried to copy its winning formula , but all fell short. Even the long-delayed sequel was an unqualified bomb. Mary Poppins with its 13 Academy Award nominations and five wins , simply stands the test of time as one of the greatest film musicals of all time.

My own theory is that they coated the spoons with different invisible chemicals. In chemistry class they teach people about the flame test, each element on the periodic table burns a different color.
@Liofa73
6 жыл бұрын
Andy Saenz --- It wouldn't have been a chemical reaction, it's more likely two compartments in the bottle. Maybe Julie Andrews flicked a switch to change compartments. The boy doesn't seem as impressed as the girl, I think he can see how they did it. It might have been as simple as when she rotated the bottle up it locked off one compartment,opening the other.

Sorry for the late reply but if you watch the video I just put up it explains how that effect works. Unlike green screening it's not the colour of the background that's important but the colour of the lights they're using, which is a specific shade of yellow. So even though Dick's hair is black it doesn't get edited out when they change the background.
