RIP, Walt Disney. You made the magic happen at the beginning, and it still moves on now and brought happiness to us around the world.

Like I've always said, Walt was a genius and respected those whom he trusted. Overall, as with anyone, he could be nice if he liked you and mean if he disliked you. But in the grand scheme of things, he was in general, a tolerant man who expected a lot from those beneath them, knowing well that they would be the ones to shoulder his legacy, much like how Jim Henson relied on his children & the "family" of Muppeteers he had brought together during his own last days.

I have bought the autobiography and read it, and I agree with you. In that book, Bill Peet acknowledged Disney's talent but still mentioned that Disney had a changeable personality, in which he could be nice to you if he liked your ideas and then be mean to you if he disapproved your ideas. However, these flaws goes to show that Walt Disney is human like all of us.

Just as Pirates and--of all things--Mansion were the last attractions he was working with.

On 5:19 to 5:31, no disrespect to Will Finn but I'm afraid Peet's depiction of Disney was far from 'great and kind.' Peet's portrayal on Disney is not hate-filled nor is it a pretty one either. Peet had good things to say but to me he mostly concentrated on the more intimidating details of Walt's personality. Either Finn was told to say that or he never read Peet's autobiography, which I highly recommend for any Disney enthusiast.

The last time i saw this movie was in at GOMA in a room full of floor cushions. It was an interpretation by Pierre Bismuth, where every character spoke a different language (cut together from different dubbed versions of the film) Sher Khan spoke English, and groups of characters would share families of languages....
