This was light hearted, and funny, yet full of truth! My husband of 44 years ( we married young-19) could write his own hand out pamphlet..."How I successfully survived the menopause years." Lol. I've often told him, "Please, don't speak, I'm on fire here, just give me five minutes please!" Lol. He's been loving and kind for the most part, I'm very grateful. I love you Dr. Barbie!

I lost myself exactly as you describe in this video. Only i used Alzam and not wine. Since starting to follow you, I was able to totally ditch the Alzam. Gorgeous outfit! You look beautiful as usual! My hubby is not average for sure and I would leave a husband for sure if he was selfish like that with me. I am married to the best man in the world and have been for 25 years. I cant even imagine! He is the exact opposite o the men you described and watches all of these videos with me. But you are pretty funny with the blow up doll. Though I am not a doctor I fully agree with you about neurotic women and fertility. With my fibroids I was 45 years old and it happened top be a fertility wing of a hospital and they asked me how old I was and how long I was trying to get pregnant when I told them I was not. They said what a relief a normal woman who is not insane over infertility! I have a crazy neighbor who drove away 2 husbands by age 30 with her baby obsession then she finally had one and he left she just drove him nuts. My hubby is watching the videos with me so he doesn't need to watch the one for men.

Like you, I never wanted to get pregnant. But society has a very hard time accepting that. If you're not infertile or incapable of pregnancy, people think something's wrong with you if you don't want children. Face it: Nothing is for everyone: Not marriage, not kids, nada.

I was clueless about my impending "storm of the century" when my peri kicked in Of course my husband was even more so.I wish meno wasn't almost exclusively considered to be a "female issue" as much as a family oriented issue, since a woman's family, job, and social life can be so devastated by it. I believe you began your revolution at birth, lol and I'm so thankful for you, your wisdom, and insight. This quote by Gloria Steinhem, "Women may be the one group that grows more radical with age," has given me a lot to think about. But, I believe my take on it is much different (and better, ) than it was in my 20's and 30's. Rather than bitter and resentful, I see postmenopausal women as being confident and wise, and free of the roller coaster rides of hormones that have controlled and consumed our lives since puberty. Once we get beyond that, as long as we have our health, we can be the best of both genders- the clear thinking and ambition typically associated with men and the creativity, sense of family, and compassion more associated with women. Personally, I'm looking forward to having it all - the peace, health, ambition, etc., etc. !

I'd be interested in knowing who and where the writer of those books comes from? What I like about MB is that she presents specific details about her speciality but this one is like an article from a different era. By the end of it the wrinkles on my face were because I was mystified by the idea that men are simple minded animals? I mean really? If I take this video as a pure joke then maybe I can re-watch it & laugh...
