Ordered. I think it’s genius. Offering different diodes does next to nothing. That mood aggressiveness is what matters. The aggressiveness of the transistors. I don’t know anything (but ı think I understand this. (The other variables you mentioned). Great demo! As usual.

@@Ryan-rn3cf Maybe in the US you can get the Palisades more cheaply, but here in Europe it's the equivalent of $350. It's stepped and not smoothly blending the different voicings and it does not offer MIDI support. You might not care for that, but it doesn't come for free.

In the past my way huge swollen pickle had me thinking about how cool it would be to have expression control over some of its parameters - like the clip knob which functions in the same way as the mood knob here. the fact that all the knobs on this pedal can be controlled via CV and MIDI really opens up some interesting ideas for processing. LFOs and envelopes controlling your distortion sound ya kno. woohoo

Definitely plan on getting one in the future, I think one thing that is a missed opportunity by Kernom is not having the option to have the expression pedal control the full sweep of the mood rather than a blend between presets they gave us (which is nice but still).
@AndyDemos
Жыл бұрын
No missed opportunity, you can do this! I meant to say 'morph' instead of 'blend'. Any parameter can be assigned to the exp pedal including the Mood. If you have the non-preset at min and the preset at max, you can travel the full sweep. I mention this in the last EXP example and choose not to assign the Mood to EXP because the result is non-linear and you'll notice jumps and changes of dynamics which didn't suit the example. Thanks for the comment!

What a demo The sound is very versatile and with presets + midi it can easily replace most of your OD/Distortion pedals in the chain. On the other hand I absolutely hate the design of the casing and the minimalist graphic. + The white color would be super attracting dirt and scratches. My pure personal opinion is that this is a major marketing miss of a very promising looking company. I know sound matters, but even in the pedal department the design still sells.
