The modern feminists do not have to like this if they don't want to. Who cares? This is a beautiful, meaningful love story. I was even emotional while watching. I wish this beautiful couple health, joy and happiness. This is a prime example of a true love, relation and marriage as it should be. This beautiful and devoted Pinay has shown, over many years, to the entire world that money is not everything, and LOVE STILL EXISTS. Thank you very much for sharing this happiness with us. Regards from Canada.

Nice honest video. I can feel the real sincerity and love from both sides. I'm 62 & my wife is 38. Our age difference is not an impediment. We have 4 kids. I'm not broke, not even close, definitely not poor and not relying on social security. I can pay cash for a really nice home and live comfortably in the USA but prefer to live, and have my children raised in the Philippines. Racism and age discrimination are not a significant thing in the Philippines. Rather family values and respect for elderly are some of the societal norms. Violent crimes are very rare in the Philippines, whereas the USA has some of the violent crime capitals ranking in the top ten of the world. Everyday more and more unvetted people pour into the USA. 90% are looking for an honest and better life but its the 10% I am concerned with that can end or destroy the life of one of my children. Safety of my children is a top concern. But wait, there's more...The Philippines has 7000 islands, most of which have beaches and water with beauty that far surpasses any beaches in the USA. Unless you are talking about high cost southern Florida, i.e. Key West, Hawaii, or some of the territories, i.e. Puerto Rico, Guam, Saipan, etc...The beaches and water in the Philippines are incredibly more beautiful. Most islands also have mountains where people can live in cooler climates, go hiking or canyoneering, do outdoor sports etc... and still be minutes from the beaches. What is not to love about the Philippines ? Ok, electricity rates are high...but now solar systems ... with batteries are reasonably priced so connecting to the grid is optional. Healthcare is not the best in all locations. Ok, this means strive to make better choices when eating, be more active and just live a healthier, less stressful life... The narrow minded people who misperceive that all guys going to the Philippines are broke arse losers or predators are severely mistaken. I'm sure there are some but please don't stereotype. Many of us find deep, meaningful relationships. and yes with younger partners (not those few Filipinas being like vultures on a fence) and for whatever reasons, it works. We non-broke choose to live in paradise over living in the USA. Meet and talk to some of the people who live in the Philippines before stereotyping and please don't just spew hate because of misperceptions.

Great story and great relationship. What a mature and delightful wife you have Monty. I’m 63 and my Philippina wife Is 28. We live in Australia which is great for us. We met through Australian Philippino friends and became Facebook friends through Covid. Then after 12 months and a lifting of the travel ban, I went to the Philippines 2 years ago, spent 3 months there, then she moved to Australia with me. It has been the best 3 years of my life.We have enriched each other’s lives immeasurably.

😮😢 Reyna Shay🇵🇭 Salamat po for sharing this heart wrenching sensational raw video of Sir Monty and his humble beautiful wife Ariel. The passport bro situation all the drama behind western women bashing men….you are correct with your introduction. I do not resonate with any aspect it nor do I consider myself a passport bro either. What I do resonate with is just about everything Sir Monty expressed. And how he broke down what it’s like to date or try to date most western women. The aspect of family values and western women embracing unconditional love in a relationship is far and few in between. Meaning, a man to find a western woman with any of those family christian values and unconditional nurturing love in a relationship is lucky to have found. Sir Monty also hit the nail on the head. When he spoke how western women are more concerned about. What kind of vehicle I drive? How much money I make? Do I own your own home? Am I paying child support? How much is my mortgage a month? I too no longer date nor been seeking to be in that kind of dysfunctional relationship. My choice to reside in PH is solely a personal life long dream I’ve had. Not just to find a compatible partner. But, because of the friendly atmosphere smiling hospitable people there. I feel more at home in PH than I do in the USA🤣 And of course, not to mention the unbelievable breathtaking landscapes…beautiful nature surroundings…amazing waterfalls too. Sir Monty is definitely one unselfish…truly blessed…sincerely humbling individual. Just the same as his beautiful wife Ariel. Bless you both and daughter‼️🙏🏽 Reyna Shay🇵🇭 you did an outstanding job doing this interview with Sir Monty and wife Ariel. Hope seeing more interviews in the future when you’re able to fit into your busy schedule❣️😊

Nice interview, Shay..... My filipina wife and I have a 20yr age gap... when I had a stroke, same as Monty, she told me the exact same thing.... no matter what, she would do whatever to support our family and me... Luckily, that was not required... Like Monty, I have been traveling to the Philippines since the 80's. In my opinion, it is a common trait and a true show of love filipina women have for their spouse and family. Very strong women used to dealing with hardships and moving forward...

@@Life_WithShay That's right. One more thing that I think is really important for western guys to consider; I'm from the UK and, I'm sure it's the same in other western countries, I don't know anyone who shares a large portion of their salary with their family for, for instance, educating young members of the extended families, or just helping out and sharing their wealth. We don't do that. Instead, we show off with new cars, houses, going on fancy holidays etc...and brag about it. Finipinos tend to share what they have with others. That is something I've learned since travelling to the Philippines since 2015. We, in the west, can learn a lot from a lot of family-based, community-based south east Asian countries. They may be poorer in material wealth but they are much richer in moralistic and spritual wealth....they are genuinly more content with what they have than we are with all we have! :)

I read the comments. Only supportive comments. I'll say what should be said. I don't think it's cool for an older man in the grandfather stage of life, go back and relive his time that has passed. Next have a kid and do it all over again.

As you said E McB, most here do not agree with you. I think your opinion can and is said, but not necessarily that it should be said. But, as long as you are respectful, I respect your opinion. Thank you.

I’ve been really thinking about the move to the Philippines and retiring there. The key is finding the special one that will be my friend for life, and live our life to the fullest potential. I plan on going back and forth to the USA for at least 1 or 2 months for health care checkups and maintenance. The problems are finding the right one, and not making a mistake. I don’t plan on getting married but rather just finding a best friend and maintain the relationship as strong as possible. They look very tuned to each other, & I’m happy for them and wish them all the best for their futures together. 😊

Good interview. While I love the information and convenience of the internet… the world before instant gratification was far more personal and rewarding. I loved the references to the village raising kids. I can’t think of a single neighbor who wouldn’t correct our bad behaviors. And you better not run home and complain about, because then you get it again.

The pitfalls of a wide age gap relationships is unfolding in realtime… Monty is in the hospital now with congestive heart failure, his future is tenuous. His 24 yo wife and his friends are soliciting money to cover his hospital costs, Passport Bro is an euphemism for refugee from marginal employment, relationship failures and inability to thrive in the west. His widow and child will soon return to poverty.

Wrong! This is not America! And we are not Americans! Poverty? We are all poor, you dumb idiot. As long as you are healthy and capable of work, you are not poor. Yes, we lived in smaller houses, smaller and simple things, but we are rich. We don't have much. Yup, in America, you can be so rich but so poor and dead inside! 😂😂😂 Are you that blind? Look at america today. 😂

The root of every successful marriage is a strong partnership. The West values the strong character of the individual and males were taught this from an early age, stand up for yourself and be a man. Women when I was young were more focused on the family and they made sacrifices to do this. As women gained more financial independence they also were taught strong individualism. I'm not putting Western women down for this in fact if this is what they truly want than more power to them. People should live the life that makes them and the people around them happy. I still seek out a partnership with a women of mutual sacrifice and growth I'm finding that difficult to find in the West. As always wonderful job Shay in letting the people tell their own story. Your understanding of what the viewer experiences when watching your videos is truly an art. You are a director at heart. Jessel, Mike and Janet photobombed your video😄😄
