Boy, as much as I hate to say this, Mick is fading, but at 78 it's going to happen. I like see him get out and go but it's all are fates, time is the enemy. Hopefully he enjoys what he is doing and if good for him. That's what it's about. He has out lived many contemparies and good for you Mick. More power to ya.

I saw him in concert a few weeks ago - and NOT fading. Very impressive show - but learning how to pace himself maybe. The lone remaining Monkee. His tribute to all three was well-done in the show. It was a multimedia performance with video running in the background throughout. The guy can still SING wonderfully. He was commemorating Headquarters. He's still Mick the Quick.

I would have loved to be there. That music, and that show were such huge factors in my upbringing. Hell, Mickey, and his crew damn near raised me through that music. It explains my personality quite a bit. lol

Will always love the monkees, for their music and their fantastic sense of humour especially mike nesmith with his great green wool hat.
Both Micky and Davey have recommended getting a great lawyer. Sounds like sage advice.

I dig the fist bump at the end with Butch Patrick, among a zillion other goodies. I guess this is why I keep getting Butch Patrick stuff in my suggestions column,I was wondering WHY that was!

18:44 Hi, I'm 30 and I wanna share with the class. An example of this "The Fresh Prince of Bel-air" (Someone made a mashup with Will's theme and The last train to Clarksvile") It made an impact in the 90's, people saw themselves as Will at times, it brought out core family bonding. You really felt like you were a part of their family when the Thanksgiving episodes rolled around. The "How come he don't want me, man?" scene after "Will's father" walked out on him again. James was "Uncle Phil" and Will embraced. That moment was powerful, "their" love was powerful. Another reality was breaking through the TV in front of us. I cry sometimes when I see it again. Just as Mike Nesmith's heartfelt ad-lib "Baby, in the final analysis- Love is power. That's where the power is at." from The Devil and Peter Tork. When James Avery died, many fans like me watched ninja turtles and his scenes in Fresh Prince. The Uncle that they had and never had, the love for him was there. Another impact was saying "goodbye" to Davy as his "grandfather" takes him home, the first time I saw this it was 7-9 months before his actual death. It was blurring TV and our reality. So when he died, and then when we lost Peter and when Mike passed- fans like me watched that scene again and cried with them saying goodbye. Love is understanding, Love is power, Love is healing. "But then why listen to me, since I know nothing.."-Peter Tork (Head) Happy Valentine's day, 2024. Thank you, this was my Ted talk. ✌😎🤙🎶🎬🕯

Songwriter Bobby Hart has explained that Clarksville was inspired by Clarkdale, AZ, where his family would drive every summer -- and Clarkdale has a big train station there. As a Monkees fan in Phoenix, it's a cool piece of local trivia!
