I was there! First time I had seen them in about 15 years in Philadelphia at the Mann Center. They put on a fabulous show despite the horrible heat and humidity and moths flying all over. First time I saw Gordy Marshall, Norda Mullen and Julie Ragins perform. Great additions and fantastic show and the first of many shows thereafter!

I was fortunate to see them live about twenty five times including once with first row dead center seats thanks to a Connecticut Public Television promotion. Always loved watching Gordy during Isn't Life Strange. Would pay just to watch that!

In my opinion, the Moody's were never the same after Mike left the band. His contributions to the band were sorely missed.

I agree to some degree😊! Patrick Moraz brought a somewhat different sound but not too different to Mike's way. Even though I love all MB's albums with Mike Pinder on keyboards, I must admit that "Long distance voyager", "The other side of life" and "Sur la mer" are also among my favorite MB's albums.

And now (April 26, 2024) Michael is gone. He seemed to be unselfish in his efforts to uphold the standards of the Moody Blues till he left the group on his own terms. We as fans all want our favorite groups to stay together just like we want our old home town to remain the same when we return. But these are individuals leading their own lives. I have seen Justin Hayward multiple times with his own entourage. His concerts are great. And as much as I dreamed about him inviting Michael to join him, it wasn't to be. I wish John well on his upcoming tour. My 16 year old daughter discovered the MB's on her own and went with me to Justin's concert here in Orlando. A time I wouldn't trade away.

Since we csnnot see Justin and John together, I have been going to see Gordy Marshall and Mick Wilson's Moody Blues tribute band shows and they are fabulous! @@denisebojczuk510 As much as I loved to watch Gordy when he toured with the Moodies (particularly in "Isn't Life Strange"), I have seen cover bands on the net that I feel are far better. Time Traveler and The Lost Chord come to mind. I do not believe those are touring acts though. If Gordy's band was to come nearby (CT, MA, RI perhaps) I would probably go see the show. The world needs a Moody Blues tribute band on the level of Rumours of Fleetwood Mac. If you've heard them you know how good a tribute band can be. There is also Lexington Lab Band who covers a multitude of artists with outstanding results but have not done any Moody Blues that I am aware of. Check them out.

the Moody Blues' Children's, children's, children - - was the first EPIC Concept album that I remember. It came out in Nov. 1969 and beat such classics as Dark Side, Lamb Lies down, Tommy, Fragile and more! The album was inspired by the moon landing - I was inspired by both! My favorite Moody's album!!
