What Simmons did was not entitlement. He has mental issue that is hindering his ability to perform. You can call him weak minded, thin skinned, bad teammate, etc but entitled? Another one intentionally missing games and practice cause he didn’t want to show up to work anymore. And the last one Dennis Schroeder a man who if the contract rumours were true which he himself has denied, decided to bet on himself to get a better contract the following year and turned down the contract cause he thought he was worth more, in what universe is that entitlement? Did Schroeder act like a spoilt brat and miss games? Talk shit to the media? Whine and bitch saying he was worth more? Nah he kept to himself and worked to earn a better contract. Now I understand why Lebron did what he did and in return it created the Players empowerment. It made me realize that the majority of these owners dont care about winning championships. They just want the revenue. So what if an organization has a star player who feels that winning a championship is important but its not to the organization? Should that player just keep playing for the organization and hope that he can win a championship with whatever teammates he has, or should he leave and go play for an organization who does want to win a championship? Now when it comes to Dame, if you think that the Blazers have done everything in their power to get Dame in a position to help him win a championship, youre lying. He has been that organization's cash cow this whole entire time. Thats why its taking them so long to trade him. They need another cash cow to take Dame's place, so they can continue bringing in the revenue and not care about winning championships. So excuse these players for not allowing themselves to just be cash cows to these owners

It’s ok to run players like Ben Simmons out of town but when players like Bron (the decision), KD, and Kawhi want to leave horrible franchises (look how awful those teams got the sec those players left) they are horrible ppl who get their jerseys burned in the street and destroyed by the media. It was ok for Tor to trade Derozan, who stated he wanted to retire a Raptor, for Kawhi to win a ring, but it was bad for AD to demand a trade to LAL to do the same. I think trades is just a bad way to do business. When KD and the Thunder got beat by the Warriors and KD went and immediately signed with the Warriors, I knew it was a wrap as that was one of the most pu$$y things I've ever seen an NBA superstar do. And it's why his chips don't mean a damn thing to me. Giannis ONE ring with the Bucks means way more. And this era is why LBJ can never be on no GOAT lists or even no top 5 lists. @@brandonlowinski2247 Derrick Rose epitomizes what it means to be entitled. He was medically cleared refuse to play. Derrick Rose did not want to put forth an effort to recruit potential All-Stars. Everyone keeps preaching how great he is and how he brought Chicago to the promised land but in reality he never brought a championship to Chicago he had a small moment when he was in his prime but believe it or not he wasn't worth the hype he was a financial ways and injury-prone joke. Derrick Rose cheated to get into college. Once he got his Adidas deal then all the sudden she kept making excuses on why he couldn't play. At the end of the day if you're having your own personal issues I have all the empathy in the world for you but you still have to be willing to think of the greater good at least if you would have took a nap a cut or done something to justify his insanely large salary while shortchanging the Bulls when they were in playoff contention. Keep in mind Derrick Rose's comments about the reason he didn't want to go back to playing earlier was because he was thinking about playing basketball with his son when he gets older. I am all for family bonding I'm all for having that connection with your kids but you realized what kind of a disrespectful, that is to every player in the NBA that's making a fraction of his salary and willing to put their bodies on the line for the sake of their team their career and their livelihood. Then you also have to take into account that Derrick Rose unnecessary drama to the NBA with the whole enabling of potential rapist. So how on Earth is this guy not an N abled entitled overhype NBA player that should not be worthy of being on the court

Back then the game was physical…so I can understand if players back then were always on the refs heads cause they feel they got fouled and the ref didn’t call it. Plus a lot of players back then sucked it up and went back on defense. These dudes today be flopping and wanting ticky tack fouls being called for them

@@lolstfu2950 Double standard my ass. Have you seen the footage of the fouls that the Bad Boy Pistons would do to Jordan? No one is trying to slam Luka to the ground. Theyre not trying to end his career. Michael had every right to complain. They were really trying to hurt him. You can't say that about today's players. They are acting like cry babies when they get fouled

All i gor from this entitlment is that players are being humans and not workers people are mad that they cant stand up for themselves at their job do whats best for them this a new era where the people at the bottom doesnt lose there charachter and allow people at the top to control them older generation is not used to that my age understand that we have the choice to do what ever we want people in society now understand the workers players or the bottom people really have the power as we keep everything running for everyone whats a leader whats a boss wothout workers a common person like everyone else its a new age people are not slaves anymoreb

These people forget that this is a job to these NBA players. Regular people with regular jobs are doing it right now with not wanting to go back in the office to work, but instead work from home, or not work for low wages. Guess who's mad about it, the owners of the companies. Are those people now entitled? This is the very same thing. The owners want to get the players back in line like how these owners want to do for regular workers

This is a good video, but Dennis Schröder's story is one of humility not *entitlement* . I wouldn't put declining a contract extension in the same realm as constantly requesting trades, and refusing to play. Dennis bet on himself and it didn't work out.

I just fucking hate how players like KD can completely undermine and disrespect steve Nash as a coach like that. Not everyone can be a great coach from the start. The reason 90s bulls were so successful is because even great michael jordan respected young new coach in Phil jackson to grow alongside the team and trusted him to make crucial decision in terms of lineup, plays and things like that. Obviously they would go on the build on the triangle offense together by communicating what the on court players see and TRUSTING that the head coach would adjust and whatnot. INSTEAD from the getgo, KD just fucking called out the uselessness of headcoaches in general. I hate that he treated steve nash as a person like that,
