There is only one true Creator. Everyone else are children of God. We will do great things like God but with that comes great responsibility. We see the new age groups distorting this concept to the point that people think they can "do as thou wilt ". This is why we see the world in it's current state. It is our duty to draw attention to this so people can make an informed decision. Thank you Shade for your diligence.

2 Corinthians 4:4 while many denies Jesus Christ Deity
@kevinerose

9:00 Just a bit of history on this. I believe they used Lord and LORD in the KJV is going along with the Jewish idea that the name of God should not be spoken or read. So I think that is the reasoning behind this usage. And the way I understand it, they use "Lord" to refer to God when the word "lord" is used. So lowercase is for earthly lords. 15:00 It is also important to note there are other meanings to the word "god" in the Bible. For instance, I read the Duay Rheims bible years ago and was shocked! In the book of Genesis, this version was calling all the ancestors "gods". So they would call Adam and Eve "gods' and Noah and Abraham as "gods" to them. 31:00 For me, I would suggest that God created us to be humans and as humans we shall always remain. If God wanted to create us for something else, then he would have already done so. I feel so sad for people when God created this world for us and we don't appreciate it and think that we need to have something more. We are going down a dangerous road with that kind of thinking.
@ShadeStoneMusic

Thank You for sharing this. I had heard this explanation before. I can't help but think they could have come up with a better solution; especially since 'Lord' is often used for Jesus in the New Testament. I do think that handling it this way has brought on some confusion because many Christians don't know about this approach, Just a gentle criticism; but again, my thanks to you for sharing!
@kevinerose

@@ShadeStoneMusic Yes, I agree. It is confusing. Plus I don't believe God ever said not to use his name only not to blaspheme or use his name in vain. I guess it was intended to help prevent people from using his name in vain. If you never read it or hear it spoken then you are less likely to sin. But this is not the way. Religions often start when people want to make rules which will prevent others from sinning. Even with good intensions this is not the way. God wants us to chose to follow his way. Not by rules to scare people into obedience.

So who are these God's and what is their role and position? What does this mean for us? When it comes to our faith, believing in the Most High God, and in Jesus Christ, we can just ignore the facts that there are more Gods? What does it mean for us?
@ShadeStoneMusic
14 күн бұрын
I think that what it means for us is that we can be encouraged to know that God's divine love is in us through His Son and therefore we have the capacity to love others through His divine Spirit of Love...Angels are called 'ministering spirits' in the book of Hebrews... which means they help people...so in their assistance, they have a degree of 'godliness'...human beings are capable of the same. We can help others and bear one another's burdens. As for 'who' the other 'gods' are...in Psalm 82 and Exodus 21 and 22, he uses the term for the human leadership of Ancient Israel at that time.

There’s also this dynamic of “princes” with the Gog/Magog/Amalekites… where Haman was the “Chief Prince of princes” in that time. Also Daniel uses Prince as in chapter 9. Of Jesus was God would he ever be “A PRINCE??”

Just a passing thought I have for the day as I see a world around me that is in perpetual struggle. First, Jesus said, "in this world you will have trouble." But my thoughts go back to what season we are in. Are we in a "little/short season?" Are we on a new earth? Perhaps it is all of this. What if we are on the new earth yet in the devils short time? Perhaps the short season is perpetual, cyclical. To be repeated in each generation and individual. Perhaps every individual as the new generations on a new earth will have to make that choice of whether to come up against God and his people or not. To resist the devil around them and the one that is within just as Peter had to do as well. And for God's judgement to continue to be against pride and devilishness forever and ever. Peter was told to get behind Jesus. To submit after he was called to follow Jesus. To not oppose his plan. To not resist Him. To not be an adversary but a follower of the King. Maybe this is a part of why we set our hope to be like Him when he appears. To purify ourselves moment by moment, decision by decision. To settle into being the sons and children of the living most High God. Just some ramblings. Continued love and blessings.

@@ShadeStoneMusic Thanks. You know Shade I barely know how to express what I'm thinking sometimes. But I'm leaning more and more to that we are in this new earth place, even though it's not my idea, or preconceived one, of what it would be like. I see the dogs outside. Those who love and practice a falsehood. I no longer see the devil as some extra oridinary being. But rather I see the devils all around us. I see it in the government. A lot. I'm seeing it in this hurricane disaster. They'll send billions of dollars overseas to kill people who have done us no wrong and prop up devilish regimes. While the people who have experienced a horrific natural disaster will be left to beg for a bottle of water. I'm disgusted and grieved. Yet full of hope. Neighbor helping and loving neighbor. Hope because our Father sees each bit of pain and anguish. And He will use each short season to bring His Holy City to new heights and to over flowing. I Thank You so much for being accessible to those who listen to your teachings. I'm sorry if I make this any kind of unwanted rant. You see my brother, you are viewing this through the lens of full preterism which is a misguided teaching of men and has no basis in scripture. Far from God planning a perpetual cycle of short seasons with satan perpetually dominating, it is quite the opposite. God promised His glory will cover the earth. Christ said to His audience to pray for the coming kingdom so that God's will will be done ON EARTH AS it is in heaven. Speaking of short season cycles, that would necessitate a cycle of kingdom reigns followed by satanic chaos forever. Total nonsense my friend. God has infinitely more encouragement for life on earth than full preterism offers. Peace.

Why is Yahweh a different number? Just noticed at the beginning of this…so apologies if you explain further in.
@ShadeStoneMusic

"Yahweh" is a different number because it is His name. So "Yahweh" doesn't mean 'God'...as a comparison...Jesus is our 'Lord's name'...but the name 'Jesus' itself doesn't mean 'Lord'.

Neither Melchizedek's ancestors nor his descendants, neither the beginning of his days nor the end of his life are mentioned. The royal priesthood of Christ is also neither inherited from ancestors nor passed on to descendants, because Christ never dies. Christ's priesthood is eternal. And can only be passed on spiritually. It seems to be more of a figurative representation of the royal priesthood of Jesus Christ, the eternal High Priest of God. Blessing

Thanks for another video with further explanation. Personally, I can understand the aversion of multiple gods. It is something I still have to contend with at times. One of the greatest deceptive teachings of mormonism is the whole multiple gods teaching and the indoctrinated view that you can inherit the highest degree of heaven and become gods, creating your own worlds. Then your job is to make celestial babies and create your own worlds where they will live, and the process repeats itself over and over. Since they teach that Jesus and Lucifer are brothers, to the indoctrinated, it all makes sense. They skew the scriptures that you have read to the point that it completely supports the programming. This is why I'm so appreciative of these videos. They completely changed my scripture study time. Thank you again!😊

I think this presentation beautifully proves that Yahweh is the absolute ruler over all. Any other level of authority is simply delegated by Him and for the accomplishment of His purposes and plans. It's really that simple. Yahweh God is the only Deity. Yahweh God is the only Divine Being. Yahweh God is the only one who is immortal.Yahweh God is the only Being possessing life in Himself. Yahweh God is the only Being whose life is underived. In that sense, Yahweh God is the One and ONLY God. The celestial angels are not deities. The resurrected glorified saints are not deities. They are partakers of the divine nature through Christ and Christ's divinity is derived from God the Father. All are subservient to Yahweh God. Any power or authority is subject to Yahweh God and are all small g gods. With the exception of Christ, who is God's literal Son, and even He is subjected to the Father. So, in that manner, I don't believe it is hyper-monotheism to believe that Yahweh is the only God. Because He is the only God. Anyone else that exercises any type of authority in creation is not their own authority but delegated by God to them. And that's how Yahweh is the God of gods and Lord of Kings, etc. God has no rivals. God has no nemesis. God is so absolutely sovereign that He has to raise up His own opposition in order to reveal His character and power. So, in the sense of divinity/deity, there are no other gods in existence. In the sense of rulerships and authorities is the only sense where small g gods exist. Another area where certain christian teachers are have gone off the rails into the abyss of confusion and falsehood are those that are peddling the teaching that God created a pantheon of lesser gods who He put in charge of the various territories of the earth. And to make the story more dramatic and interesting, these lesser gods are working in rebellion to Yahweh God. They can't seem to make up their minds whether it is a supernatural fallen angel they named satan or a coterie of lesser evil gods who have staged a rebellion against Yahweh. Pure rubbish, nonsense, fables, and myths. I like the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) doctrine. Simply stated, God the Father is the one and only true God. Any other small g gods are human beings in positions of authority delegated to them by God. Peace.
