How about you buy the paint and walk your butt out there and paint them. Everyone's a freaking critic. I see you have a lot of videos on your channel supporting your expertise - Goob!

That is a gorgeous rifle Cervus! Really smacked that 50 yard plate and 3 hits at a 100 were great! That ought to put some pork in the freezer! Good luck my friend!

Thanks Mrac. I have to head to my camp (where the video was shot) tomorrow and while out that way I'm going to head down to my duck pond lease where I pig hunt. I'll be sure to tote the 45-70 with me too. With the amount of pigs out there I'll probably see some.

Very Cool Richard. Hang on to that one for sure. I hate that i missed out on some of the earlier models, but I'm happy to have this one. I saw that the New 336 in 30-30 and black walnut is coming out this month. Also the 1894 in 44 Mag should be available by spring. I'd love to see something in the 444 come out. Of course I'd have to save up my pennies for that one as well.

@@cervus-venator enjoyed the video! Thanks for all the effort! I was doing some math in my head and realized how expensive making videos is #?*! Them 45-70 rounds don't grow on trees! I thought about doing "Mag Dump Mondays" that's when I did a little math and discovered how fast I was gonna run out of everything!
@cervus-venator
Жыл бұрын
@@chrislang5659 About the only mag dump I could do is with 22lr. LOL. Even the 357 is running about a buck per round. When ever I shoot several guns and shoot video of it I feel the need to go buy a couple of boxes of ammo. I hate the thought of depleting my cache of ammo. On the day I made this video I shot three different 308 rifles, a 357 lever gun, a 30-30 lever gun and the 45-70. I feel now that I need to go buy another box of 30-30 for sure. I had the 357, 308, and 45-70 already for shooting up.

@@cervus-venator it all has a way of working out in the end. All the info we gather by shooting the different platforms and ammo is in a way priceless! Going through analytics I found the majority of my viewers are from Brasil and India of all places States being 3rd. The amount of people that watch because they have never handled a firearm is probably kinda high, which is something I didn't really take into consideration 🤔 Probably makes some people's day!

@@chrislang5659 Yeah I need to look at that too. I know I have some folks from South American countries as they've commented. I have a good following from India too due to the TAFE tractor. It is an Indian company that owns Massey Furgeson and TAFE. I've had some from Germany recently due to the Drilling video as well as the Mauser series.

Cool, I really want to check those LeverEvelution 325 grain out too. It's just that I currently have it sighted in for the 300 grain and I'm actually going to try and do a little pig hunting with it this evening. Maybe after some of my pig hunts and deer season then I'll try the 325's and if they do well that will be my new go to. Thanks!!

Watching your video made me wish Nikon still made rifle scopes. I still have a hand full of them. They were a great product for a decent price point. That is a great looking lever action. The wood on that Marlin is beautiful! I came close to getting a large loop guide gun a couple of times. Regret not pulling the trigger on that purchase!

Thanks. Yeah I miss the Nikon scopes. There is a company that bought all the scope making equipment but I just can't remember their name right at the minute. Of course I don't see them marketing them as much as Nikon did. On this rifle I originally wanted the Trapper stainless steel, but I am more than pleased with this one. I just love that bog old round coming out of that 19 inch barrel and smacking the target like a freight train. If you get the chance, pick one up. You won't regret it.
