Thx for the video! I’ve been using the 315/pro version for a bit now, and I’m really surprised that you found it to be low powered - I find it to be the opposite, and physics would support that too given that it’s the same beam width as the 300/regular, with a higher swingweight. In fact, tennis warehouse university website’s power map has the 315/pro as one of their more powerful racquets in their database, which makes sense given the high sw, stiffness, and beam width.

I've been playing the 300 for several months and many string setups. For me it swings perfectly, coming from 325 sw racquets because I was needed to move down 5-10 pts in sw. The weight is evenly distributed in the racquet, not polarized or in the middle of the racquet. The grip as it's a bit rectangular. Ok, on to strings. The general experience I have with this racquet is any slick cross will result in launch angle. Any lower tension cross will result in launch angle. At the same time, too high of total tension or overly stiff string makes the racquet boardy. My best setups to date are a shaped poly in the mains and a "normal" round poly in the crosses. If it's 17g I like 50lbs, if it's 18 g 52.

Thanks for the review. Yet another line of Wilson frames, is it necessary? Better off imo investing in improving QA amongst current suite.

Maybe I missed but did you have the same strings and the same tension? (What strings and what tension?)

They were both multis. I believe Wilson sensation. As they are demo strings, they come strung with what the retailer has them prestrung with so unfortunately, I don't know the tension. I know strings and tension makes a big difference but I can't request strings with demo rackets

My shift 300 first and last impressions. I hated it: First of all it’s thick like an ultra 23 mold with more weight in the head. Shift has an identity crisis. They say it’s in the middle of power between blade and ultra…. Blade v8 in general offers more power….. you have to go for the shot in order to extract shifts power and then yeah it offers more. Sweet spot is tiny….. this is actually an unusual con for a 99 inch racquet that supposedly has more power than a blade. It feels thick through the air and specially on the head area…. not so fast for drop shots and volleys small wrist actions…. not enough pop on defensive situations. It had ok power and great spin/byte on kick serves which was my fav shot….. flat and slices were ok too. Feel is very close to clash v2 (not v1) and not on blade/pro staff level….. i would say that i prefer ultras harsh feel more which is more connected…. shift was more muted. I don’t know what the audience for this racquet is cause as i said spin generation doesn’t come for free. If you go for it yeah it’s great and offers great control but but but it’s for the modern spiny player with fast swing…. in the end i would suggest anyone to prefer a pure aero over this and call it a day. For me it’s a Wilson marketing flop that reminds heads non stop production of new racquets and lines. A racquet that unfortunately will put an end at our blades hopes that someday free power will return like it was on blades before v6….. cause Wilson now wants to sell shift as sth that offers a little more free power than blade which i said isn’t the case in reality and i even found blade to offer more forgiveness and ease of play. Shift can sometimes become unpredictable on flat shots when your contact is not clean…. this is the clash effect…. same flat shot can land in and sometimes long without giving you the reason….. lack of feedback obviously. My demo was strung with element 1.30. I also never felt their new magic tech with the vertical bending.

@@TheodorosKolokotronis799 cool i was considering trying out the shift, I hit with the original pro staff 97 for 8 years. Im having some arm issues, im looking for something more modern with the feel of a pro staff after reading your comments its made me think of demoing a blade 98 16x19 instead

@@samster978 my favourite pro staff is V11. Black with red sides. I would suggest you to demo pro staff v13 not 14. Blade V8 cannot produce in stock form the heavy ball of pro staff but it’s a lot more forgiving. It needs to add lead because it has low SW.

How can you ask for donations when you can't even put the most basic information in your videos such as string type and tension.
