What a beautiful little piece of art you’ve created, the whole thing was amazingly edited and filmed, and the message behind it just as much so, thank you for making this, I really loved it. You see a lot of videos on KZitem, but some of them aren’t as pure and well spent as yours, you really put a lot of time and effort into your videos and they’re so relaxing, like a breath of fresh air, thank you Adrian, love you 💜

ellie is so insightful and inspiring, you guys documented her story beautifully. i felt like i was instantly able to emotionally connect with her through the screen, which isn’t an easy feat to achieve in a film that’s under 9 minutes long. you and lily are such amazingly talented/brilliant filmmakers! keep up the golden work and i wish you the best of luck on your upcoming 50k ultramarathon! 💞 you’ve got this down, you were BORN for this race, adrian!!!

Wow, she only started running last year? That's mind-blowing, and it really goes to show how much you can accomplish with the right about of dedication. I really resonated with what she said towards the end there. Not too long ago I wasn't able to run 200 metres without being completely out of breath and I had that mentality that I "wasn't built to run." Then one day I simply promised myself "I will run to the best of my ability every day" and half a year later I'm able to run 15k at a time! I realize it may not be all that impressive for experienced runners but I consider it such a big personal accomplishment because I never thought I'd be able to run in the first place. You guys did such an awesome job with this documentary, following Ellie's journey on this race gave me such a huge motivation boost! I've only ever run by myself but I think I'm going to sign up for the next half-marathon! Thanks for this video, I really love your channel and this was exactly what I needed to see right now

Such a wonderful mini-documentary, Adrian! I ran a half marathon despite heavy asthma in 2012 and just started that same year. Ellie is right, everyone can do it! Now my son is 5 months old and I’m still breastfeeding, so running isn’t happening at the moment, but I can’t wait to pick it up as soon as we’re weaning! x

This looks so good for the first documentary video you did about someone else. You and Lilian did a fantastic job. Ellie was an incredible person to show her struggles and her triumphs with racing. I'm glad she got such a high placement, despite the fact she only started running a year ago. I actually think I understand what she meant at the end with running being like religion: it becomes a reminder that you are alive, and even when you are at a breaking point and ready to give up, you continue on and see your mission to the end, with the belief that you know will complete it. I wish Ellie the best of luck with any future races she chooses to compete in. And good luck to you on your upcoming ultra-marathon, Hopefully Ellie's journey inspires you to do your best and see it through to the end

This was really, really cool to watch. Not only was it filmed super well, but it was truly inspiring. I'm a senior in high school now. I've participated in track and cross country inconsistently for all 3 previous years, but now just finishing my final cross country season, I've realized how important running can be in your life. It brings people together. It keeps you healthy, it gives you a mindset of success. You get stronger through it. I haven't had any kind of big success in running in the past. My fastest 5k time has been 19:50. But I honestly look forward to starting a new, fresh kind of running career as an adult. I want to run marathons, I want to run ultras. I want to see myself grow stronger. And I want to meet new people through this journey. It really excites me, the prospect of this. Thank you for this video. It's truly amazing how well put together it is - you have a bright, bright future ahead of you.

I used to run a lot, I was in an athletics team but gave it up a few years ago. I've always wanted to start up again but I make excuses like the place I live is too hilly or I have no time with work but seeing this makes me realise I could do it. I live in Devon so it's right next to Cornwall where this is filmed and me and my Dad used to walk the coastal paths on weekends maybe I should try run them this time around? This was so different to your normal videos but it was wonderful and definitely showed a different side to exercise than most people want to show

Nice work to both you and Lily! This was a really inspiring and good way to communicate what trail running is like to non-runners. When she mentioned the fear and anxiety that came with it I realized I had never fully thought about it before as running doesn't seem like it can be as stressful as it actually is. Her experience in that she can go quite a while running in the dark with nobody and the panic of not having enough supplies is eye-opening because people only ever get to see the good parts of things (especially of things they are not part of). It was also a huge relief just watching her meet up with people as it seems there is a newfound happiness in that that I haven't quite experienced yet. Again, nice work to the two of you! This video was absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to see more!

This was done beautifully! Good job. Running that distance is crazy. Although, my former bake sci professor used to do those races all the time. After class he would say he was going to go on a short 10-15 mile run. Sometimes he would do 20 and I’d see him running along the sidewalk when I would go get groceries.
