I work on the farms that grow your wheatgrass products. I have learned that these green drinks are also the best electrolyte drinks, as well. This iced drink is the most satisfying and energizing drink for working all day in the hot, windy west desert of Utah. Chlorophyll is really good for altitude sickness when you have a hard time getting enough oxygen. It will help deodorize the body and gets oxygen to the heart. It’s really good stuff. And makes sense that it is an anti-cancer food because it gets oxygen to the cells and cancer hates that.

I found that my bread addiction was tied to the addiction to the excess fats I was eating with it, butter, cheese etc. So I've adjusted my diet to have protein every day (eggs, or fish, or beans) and sprinkle crushed nuts in soups and on salad, for a healthier fat. Its been x1 week and so far it's working, I only had 1 slice of bread with fat in 7 days. My goal is to give up bread completely.

I'm 32 now, I've had joint pain, especially in my knees since I was 14. At first I thought it was just growing pains, then I thought I had bad genetics for joints. Eventually, I came across the idea of perhaps my diet was effecting me, as when I traveled I noticed my inflammation levels changed in conjunction with my eating habits. Fast forward to finding keto and wow what a difference. After about 2 weeks, I noticed that my wrist pain that I've had since freshman year in college was gone (I broke my wrist and it had bothered me since) and then I noticed that going up and down stairs no longer bothered my knees. I kept doing keto for a few more weeks and then wanted to test it. So I went on a carb heavy diet. Nearly a week later I could barely turn my wrist it hurt so bad. I did several more keto on and off rotations and the results were the same every time. On keto my joint pain is nearly non-existent and on my old diet the inflammation is nearly crippling in comparison. I would challenge anyone who suffers from chronic pain to try keto and give it a month to see full results. You won't regret it...

@Cosmo-Kramer
Жыл бұрын
It wasn't the wheat in the grass that made you feel sick. Wheatgrass juice is a potent detoxifier, and it stirs up those toxins already in your body to eliminate them. So it was the stirring up of those toxins that caused your digestive issues. It's temporary, obviously, as the toxins are eventually eliminated. I suggest you re-challenge yourself (leave the kids out of it for now) with a smaller amount, and then build up from there. I prefer it on an empty stomach, and never had any issues tolerating it. I would try it that way, as it might've been the combo of the grass and the other contents in your smoothie that contributed to your discomfort.

I never felt better, it has to be something good to that type of eating ! I eat only animal products , any type of meat, no chicken, for some reason doesn’t taste good to me anymore , and no dairy, but fish , eggs , grass fed butter, water. I suspect that if your ancesters have eaten rice as stample food for generations, you might tolerate it pretty well (in moderation) if you are healthy. For me - whose ancestors didn't eat rice - rice is the worst thing for my blood sugar. Even black rice (NOT the same as wild rice), which is said to be lower in carbs and which tastes delicious (I love rice - just can't eat more than a spoon or two without getting in trouble). But I can eat some potatoes in a meal or one slice of (gluten free oats) bread without the same kind of issues.

I have celiac disease and tried dr. Berg’s wheat grass juice powder. For about a week I felt like a new person, then that ended and had sever joint pain. Stopped the powder and the pain went away😢. So disappointed! Because I think it was something that my body needed.

That stinks. Did you try taking only small amounts? Then maybe intermittently? Terry

I would say Essene or Ezekial bread is the best way to have wheat

Well, if it can't be used to make baked goods, I'll just forget about this video. Low carbs, low sugar and avoiding bad oils, eating plenty veggies and leafy greens and plenty exercise has helped me very much.

I have cut starchy carbs out of my diet almost completely and no more bloat, redding skin and tiredness. I also no longer feel hungry to snack between meals.

We've been eating bread for how long?? It's the hardest thing to give up for me. I hope Dr. Berg does more videos on gluten and why it's such a problem.

I switched to gluten-free eight years ago, but even some of the gluten-free breads irritate my stomach.

@@scott8146 I've been doing this. I get organic wheat berries, soak and sprout them and then grind them myself to make bread. I'm sure it's still not the best thing to eat but I'm hoping it's at least better as the junk sold at the store. I don't feel any negative effects from eating it in moderation.

Are you saying buckwheat, potato and corn flours are better for health because they contain no gluten? I know in French Brittany buckwheat flour became a mainstay of the food culture there because at some point in history there was a decree stating farmers should produce a certain amount of buckwheat because it is highly nutritious and easily produced. Lots of recipes we can't do without gluten, but maybe there are substitutes?

Our Fathers Food makes crushed wheat that is organic that most people with wheat sensitivity and celiacs can actually eat. The bread made from it is like bakery bread and so delicious. They make crushed oats, corn, coffee, flax, hemp……. The crushing process doesn’t release the protein.
