Personally, when I see a long tim eon a song I'm like, "alright, if this is good then I've got 17 minutes of happy sounds coming my way" but I can totally see why some people don't like long songs. I used to do this thing when I would go to the bar with my friends where I would pay for three songs on the jukebox so they would play back to back,. I have an acoustic guitar but I’m not very good with it. Funny you spoke about music theory. I just said the other night to myself that I just want to play songs, not learn music theory. I try. But it’s like Greek to me. My brother is self taught and can’t read music but he was always decently creative. If you haven’t checked out Rick Beato’s channel, he has a series called ‘What makes this song great?’ and does some amazing breakdowns. You would enjoy it, I think. The guy has put in a lot of time practicing. You don't get that good playing 5 minutes a day. He knows his scales and that fretboard pretty darn good.

I think if you actually asked top guitarists who know their stuff and listen to a lot of guitar music, most of them would rank BH at the top of composers for guitar.

Even my cat loves Buckethead! There have been many summer nights where I'll just be kicking back, smoking herbal cigarettes, chilling, listening to Buckethead and my cat will come strolling in from outside and chill with me, then, once the music switches to something else, back outside she goes. Just sayin'. ;)

We are here to have a relationship with God if you can believe that. John 3:3-6. You must be born of God's Spirit. Believe me.... just ask God to show you what that is if have enough faith to and I garrentee He will change your life. You can know the truth, who is Jesus and He will set you free from the wages of sin. His death is the death of sin and resurrection is a new life of knowing Him personally. It's awesome. It can get tough, life can be tough. But when know in your heart that God is with you for real...... that is the difference between life and death. Jesus is the King of all Kings my friends. Don't let the devil decieve you into never looking into Jesus because one day you are going to meet Him face to face. And on that day you want to already know Him and not just be meeting Him. There's a big difference.

I guess when i get in the groove, things just go better! and as a Vet, i give thanks to our troops that can't spend this day w/ family, come home safe to your family's

My mothers health was declining so she moved in with me. Id always play Buckethead's more chill emotional stuff while cooking for me and her. She passed away right before chistmas of 2022. Never thought something as simple as cooking a few nights a week would be some of my most cherished recent memories.

ὅτι ἐξ αὐτοῦ καὶ δι’ αὐτοῦ καὶ εἰς αὐτὸν τὰ πάντα· αὐτῷ ἡ δόξα εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας. ἀμήν. Rom 11:36 Exactly this I was reminded when listening to that song. All comes from God. All happens through God. All leads to God. That includes of course Buckethead and darkness - all is somehow connected to God. That makes me very happy. Greetings from Germany!

I have to say thank you brother more so than I can say ………..
