These people have the best clothing style in history! What a great show and fun times! Every kid loved when they could stay home from school and watch the famous show, The Price is Right. No other show was as fun as this when it came to playing at home. It was so much fun guessing the prices.

I was only 3 years old when this particular show aired. I don't remember the show at all up until about 6 years old (1976). I was born July 1970. The show was the best in the mid 1980's to early 90's. I really miss Bob Barker doing the show. Drew sucks. Why would they ever replace Bob with Drew, of all people? It is 1:22 AM right now and i have the volume down low so i do not awaken anybody, so i hear nothing that is being said about the items. i looked up at my screen at 24:40 and thought that the item looked like a flat screen monitor. Of course now i know it is a microwave, but for a split second i thought differently. Flat screens were not around back then.

I enjoy watching this old episodes. I was only 10 years old in 1973. I like how talked about Patricia's skirt, and her come up on stage. I always wondered why model Anitra quit the show. I can't get over how Wanda over bid by $2 on her showcase. Still is a great game show. People were not rowdy back then like they are now on the show.

The PIR music is almost the same today, but these early 70's episode have a great, jazzy beat with plenty of BIG, almost Herb Alpert brass. Almost as big as the outrageous hair dos!!! RIP: Bob Barker and Johnny Olsen

Everyone on here is reasonably well-dressed, mannered, and respectful. How many are actually like that today and giving Bob a kiss at the beginning and/or end? Unthinkable today! Every other person now looks and acts obnoxious or sloppy. I'm thinking Mary, the first contestant would be about 110 if still alive. Those glasses she wore were pretty stylish for 1973 and don't look tacky 44 years later!

@@Defensewhiz LOVED her in that movie! It's been years since I watched that movie. Is it available via DVD? I'll have to check. If so, I should buy it. Loved watching Cathy Lee and Anitra in that, what I believe as a, made-for-TV movie.

@@MrEdwardCollins It was made for TV yes and came out one year before the initial made for TV ABC movie launch for Lynda Carter. Cathy Lee has stated she was offered the role that Lynda Carter accepted but turned it down and conversely Lynda Carter has stated the was rejected for the Cathy Lee Crosby version. I think the Cathy Lee version was available on DVD, but not sure it is available nowadays. It is definitely available for streaming though.

Jesus Soto, I believe this is the master tape for this episode for CBS to broadcast so I think that’s why it’s in such good quality. It’s probably been stored in the CBS vault for 30 years before being digitized.

That was almost like being there! It must be directly from the broadcast master. It's SO cool, I love the early days of the show. Also, I have a HUGE crush on Macs! She's like a high fashion model / farmer / scientist / mixed with Jonny Quest!!! What a beautiful and smart looking woman she was! But Wanda really should have won, to be fair. $2 dollars over...c'mon! And Bob really, really, REALLY liked Patricia's skirt! It seemed to somehow preoccupy his hosting abilities!
