Omkar Kadav was rated 1900 when he left his hometown Satara and came to Mumbai to earn money via chess coaching and have a dream of becoming an IM or a GM.
But very soon reality struck him. In order to sustain in Mumbai he needed to earn money and the time that he spent in earning money stopped him from becoming a stronger chess player. It was a vicious circle from which Omkar quickly exited and used his learnings from chess in the stock market.
