Okay, it's clearly not a Rhombus, but I couldn't think of a better video title. Not much to say here, it's a shape. I had fun with this one, though I did have to sharpen my tools several times throughout the turning process. All part of the fun though!
For woodworkers:
This was turned from the maple I've used in my past videos. No spalting in this section and I'm actually happy with that. I was able to match the grain in the lid and base pretty well which I'm also happy with. Sanded from 80-320 grit and finished with walnut oil. The lid fits perfectly. So much so and because of the wood grain, if you give it a quarter turn, it locks into place pretty snug.
Video Details:
All video was shot on a Canon Powershot S110. Photos were taken on a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. The thumbnail was created in photoshop and the video was completed in HitFilm.
