It's amazing that this is less stupid then what they actually do with force ghosts in the sequels

What? Any thing about force ghosts in particular thats stupid in the sequels?
@sammywhite5127
3 жыл бұрын
@@dermathze700 I'd say the main thing is that the sequels make force ghosts capable of physically interacting with the world which creates a whole shit ton of plot holes while also massively undermining the consequences of death in the universe and it is now possible for a Jedi to just kill themselves and become invulnerable while still being capable of doing damage to their enemies
@dermathze700

@@sammywhite5127 I'd say that's a reasonable evolution of force powers. Yoda only learned about force ghosts at the end of episode three/at the end of season 6 of clone wars. No one ever heard about jedi coming back from the dead before that. On top of that, only the most skilled of jedi are even capable of becoming force ghosts. And the only person who is ever shown to interact with the physical world as a force ghost is Luke, a strong force user, at a place that is strong with the force, literally the birthplace of the Jedi Order.
@sammywhite5127

@@dermathze700 OK small thing first but you're incorrect Yoda also interacts with the physical world in TLJ but mainly my problem here is your using TCW to justify this something that also fucks up how force ghosts work; also all of these justifications are besides the point, force ghosts being able to interact with the physical world is dumb and ruins the stakes of the universe so it doesn't matter what the justification for it is
@dermathze700

@@sammywhite5127 Yoda is another powerful force user in literally the same location that is powerful with the force. What is the problem with using TCW to make my point? It is as much canon as everything else, and even was before the Disney canon. Even if you ignore TCW, it is confirmed by Yoda at the end of RotS that he just learned of the ability for Jedi to exist after death from Qui-Gon. And finally, even if you are the purest of purists and only count A New Hope as canon, Obi Wan literally says "If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine", proving that force ghosts have always been more powerful than living jedi.

I really want to start listening to the Triforce podcast but I usually don't listen to Podcasts and have been on Episode 16 for like 2 years. Is listening to all of them worth it/better so I have background info or should I start with the new ones? These clips make them seem so good and I really don't want to miss anything

I highly recommend binging them. I don't listen to many podcasts but I've listened through all of them and the first 90 or so a few times. Best whilst in the car, gym or out walking. I can't do it when I'm on the pc or on my phone etc.

The episodes can be good, with at least one memorable moment per podcast. However, I listen to them while doing something else, paying half attention to it, than stop everything when something funny happens.

I always saved them for when i was taking long journeys, i'd get through 2 or 3 at a time and its a nice distraction especially if you get travel sick. Also, if you listen to a few of them back to back they can be funnier because usually there will be running jokes that span a few episodes at a time
