I came here by accident not expecting the discussion about the ocean not just illegal fishing. The title is misleading which is doing injustice to drawing in a bigger audience. This was so interesting from beginning to start. I find the ocean as fascinating as space.

Omg. I have listened to a lot of podcasts, and this, by far, is one of the top ones I found most interesting. Great episode, and please have her back on.

Interesting lively conversation, the world needs to hear more conversations like this. There is a WWF report: since 1970, 70% of all living creatures, of all kinds have vanished from earth, with South America experiencing a staggering 94% decline.

And in the next podcast I expect a in depth analysis of the industrial farming in US. Cows, pigs and chicken have feeling's to, and we kill them in the grosses ways. Not to mention destroying nature with monoculture industrial corn or wheat production. And btw the Orcas don't "attack" the boats. They play with the rudder just like dolphins do. Unfortunately the sunken sailboats have been designed poorly and how are the Orcas to know that?

what they mistake for chemical warheads are actually the fuses for anti-air. i can understand why they would think those were chemical warheads. they're really just for making anti air rounds explode at the right distance

i listened to the podcast before, amazing episode !! About the video, would it be possible to put the camera a little bit to the side? It looks so strange to see your face head-on, with the camera hiding your mouth completely. Thanks. Also now that I think about it, zoom out a little bit. You're moving quite a lot to support what you say, but we don't see it because it's out of frame. Otherwise I'll just stick to listening on Spotify :D

I literally just read the chapter title 'Why only Orcas in captivity hurt humans' and then see the next video is 'I Was Shipwrecked After Killer Whale Attack' - can't make this stuff up.

Puget Sound is not severely polluted. Her mention of the reason why the Orca calf is wrong. The potential issue is them not getting enough Salmon, the preferred food. Also that pod that comes to the area is suffering from inbreeding, another potential cause.

Dirt will give you all sorts of worms and bacteria. Even water is dangerous. There is nothing and I repeat NOTHING safe to eat anymore so the best thing to do is just not worry about it and just eat, drink and be merry!!!
