I must say that your animation style really reminded me of FUNKe and Krugston! Do you happen to be inspired by them/know about them? Also you are EXTREMELY UNDERRATED, KZitem needs to start doing it's thing 😤

It's called... I forgot but it has a low amount of frames, what is it called... Stop motion?

@@hollowknightenjoyer sort of! But stop motion can still be smoothly animated! It's more of a choppy animation style with low frame rate to really set in stone that clicking choppy feel to the characters movements!

I love you man, i think the secret to good game is how make boring things fun to do. I mean I play stardew valley and pretty sure i spent around 1000 hours just picking up crops and putting it in barrels. So... I guess its not the activity but the incentive and the reward to do it. I also have thousands of hours in Disgaea series grinding the same single room levels. I dont know why but it was fun, pretty sure there is a secret explanation making someone play your game for so many hours repeating the same thing over and over.

@dat_fast_boi
Not necessarily. I think a big part of what made Pizza Tower good was the 5 year development cycle and demos, particularly because they weren't afraid to use that time and the playtesting by the community to scrap things that were bad/unfun, or to keep things that were good/fun. The mach run's been in the game since the start, and so has the rank animation. Pizza coins and the old HUD were scrapped, as well as various levels. The wall run and grab are additions from the demos that stuck. It's true that there might not be another platformer that outperforms Pizza Tower anytime soon, but it is possible for something else that's as polished as it to come out if other indie devs do something similar.

//Reseña en Español// Actualmente mi filme preferido de Pino es "What's the worst game art style? (2023)". //English Review// Currently my favorite Pino film is "What is the worst art style in the game? (2023)". It is the film that many enthusiasts consider his "first work", because since this was certainly not his first work, it was the first that captured the essence of Pino. But this new film comes in at a very close second. In this new installment, Pinoprime surprises us again with its bold and electric style. From the first moment of the film we can see that the visual quality is still there and Pino's already infamous comedic writing is more alive than ever. We also had the opportunity to see the most personal and introspective side of Pino, when in the first seconds of the film he shows us a "disclaimer" to let us know that the contents of the video are the product of his opinion, and he does not force himself to take it seriously. . This for me is a skillful way to make fun of angry critics who do not understand Pino's art and comedy (same idea that will be replicated in the film's epilogue). In my opinion, this moment serves to sum up Pinoprime's sarcastic and provocative style, since to the uneducated eye, the "disclaimer" can be seen as a genuine concern of Pino to receive negative comments. But instead for any lover of Pino's work, this moment is another one of his irreverent jokes that we love so much.
