Just a tidbit as someone who's done IT at a local agency (US) before since Charlie mentioned it a few times: the quality of govt dashcams is usually set to lower resolutions for storage/budget reasons. Too expensive for most local agencies to store hq footage. All video has to be available for a predetermined time set by the state you're in and the type of incident recorded (ex: murder has longer hold than traffic incidents naturally). This is not only for lawyers and media to request the footage, but also for open records requests from citizens for personal inquiry (limited by open cases and a few other exceptions in my state at least). Regardless, the Italian cops dashcam was dog shit.

I work in IT tech support and have installed a few PoE camera systems for some homes and businesses. They get this high-end 4k 60fps 12+ camera system, with a 2TB DVR, and think that it'll just store all the video it records forever. I have to then explain to them why a lot of CCTV footage they see on TV is a black and white slideshow.

The Irish are a whole other kind of chaotic. There's nothing to do so I'm not too surprised. I'm hoping those horses didn't suffer any injuries from that, because spoiler alert, they usually do. Oh and the reason for the small cart instead of just riding the horse is 1, the smaller cart isn't as heavy to pull as a big one; 2, riding a horse is uncomfortable for the rider if you're not into horseback riding. You're bouncing on your nutsack most of the time. I don't even have a nutsack and believe me it hurts after awhile. Also the horse is more balanced with the cart and less likely to slip when turning, and same for the rider, less likely to fall off when turning.

@@motleythewild Yea this is somewhere in the country too, and probably a very old video by the looks of it. The capital, Dublin is much more modern though the travellers are everywhere pretty much. They don't dominate the land but they are present just like anywhere else. You don't see these chases happen on the motorways, mostly rural areas if I were to guess anywhere. The horses are also used in the city too as a tourist trap. The Garda (Irish police) don't bother them unless they really have to, and even then they don't do much.
