Amen! Heavenly Father, in the Name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, I humbly ask for myself and everyone listening to this message, a repentant and a humble heart, soften our hearts to be grateful for your grace that you have so freely given to us which we do not deserve, and to be always grateful for all the good you have done for us. I pray that everything we do, say and think be done for your glory. I love you, Lord, because you first love me. Amen!

Thanks for your daily devotions. They are always filled with the "meat" of truth. You are a great blessing to me and all who listen.

Thank God for the bitter and sweet messages we receive from His word. For the conviction that draws us closer to Him, and the love and peace that surpasses our understanding. God bless you and your family Pastor Guzik!

Part II - the Grace of God in Vain - being Passive. How do we get that way? How do we become Lazy? How do we become indifferent? How is it the things that mattered greatly no longer matter much at all in our society and culture? It is because of the lust of the eyes, affluence, the pride of life, thinking we have arrived at a destination, when in fact we have not. It is ignoring and forgetting the goodness and mercy of God. For if we forget our 1st love, to worship, to praise, to give thanks, how can we expect a well-cultivated field? We cannot sit on our laurels as if we have done something of great achievement. Apart from God we in ourselves are nothing and accomplish nothing good. It is God who has planted the seed in us, that brings about all and any good if there is something to come at all. We must have an attitude - an outlook - a worldview - that doesn't just visit God now and then, but actually lives with and walks with God, every minute, every hour, every day. God smiles at us in Grace, can we not smile back, or are we all a bunch of ingrates? As Priscilla prayed below, may we all take heed, and be mindful in prayer for God to prune and correct us as often as needed.

Has a teacher ever gotten so much out of just 2 verses? We are blessed by Pastor David's sharing with us. For God must have taken Him through such an array of experiences to be able to decipher and interpret rightly the Word as he does, we should also be thankful and appreciative of David's willingness each day to get up and share with us. Thank you Pastor David, we continue to always pray for you and yours.

This is a message we( I!) need to be reminded of every day. It reminds me of the lyrics from the somg,Real Love by Bianca, it's about what He has already done not about what I think that I ought to do. Thank you Pastor David for your message which,as per usual, centres and brings us back to the Good News of the Gospel and what God has already done for us through our Lord Jesus Christ. May our lives be devoted to Him every day as living sacrifices and His Spirit in us lead us to bear fruit in which He may delight. O to have God smile and say, well done ,good and faithful servant! Praise Him!

This is a provoking passage - for here God sets all the right things in place, all the right conditions, and yet ... WILD grapes! I liken wild grapes to that of wild children. You have seen them in the grocery check out in front of you, or at the restaurant, running wildly, screaming, doing whatever they so please, with no thought or dare of a parent actually challenging them or correcting their path. So it is these grapes. Oh yes, they look fine on the outside, shiny, bright, full of youthful life, yet immature, bitter, not ripe, not sweet, not pleasant to smell, looks can be deceiving. So the owner God asks what more could have been done? Since God gives free will, nothing. If He forced his subjects to love Him, that would not be love. But if He allows them to have free will and they do not heed nor learn, they can go their whole life as these children WILD, unguarded, unfiltered, to know nothing but the life they choose to live. At the end of the day, these cannot be presented as good fruit for any table, must be cut, tossed and burned, perishable. So it is with our own lives when we ignore God who so lovingly has set all in place for us to enjoy, grow and live. We either make the choice to submit to Him, and allow Him to grow us naturally, or we poison all those around us w the cancer of our attitudes. It is a sad story from Isaiah, but one written for our examples, to learn from.

Take-Aways: We are "ungrateful" how can that be fixed? Do we show HARDNESS of 🧡 vs. contrite submissiveness towards repentance? Do we exchange UN-belief - for the love + hope expressed by many so we would have faith? Are we not moved? Indifferent - calloused - when we should be sensitive - to LOVE? Do we sit around wasting time, being IDLE on our own amusements vs. earnest Holy effort? Do we show up at the table w dirty hands, impure vs. proper honor, reverence + respect? We are to return good with a thankful attitude of gratitude. For God sees all. God knows all. God has given all. The ball is now in your court.

Pastor Guzik i have a question for Q&A session. My question is this. Is self-pity or feeling sorry for oneself a sin in the eyes of God? Thank you!
