This is great. I had a premonition, perhaps, when "actual" chills ran through my (for a few seconds) during the songs mere beginning. There is a later (80's) live version of this (WPOD) in San Francisco *that doesn't cut off the songe concluding conclusion. metaltomotown

This happened in the UK at Leicester DeMontfort Hall. He fell off the front of the stage whilst wielding the chainsaw. Despite reports to the contrary he definitely did not continue with the gig as he was taken to Leicester Hospital. The band completed the set without him. I was there!

Saw them 3 times in the UK. The earlier shows were the best as they were more theatrical. See my comment below re the incident with Fee breaking his leg...

Fee looks like Mick Ronson on extra glam pills, one keyboard looks like the guy from Kansas, the other from Joy Division. One drummer is from Santana and the other is from Cock Sparrer. So all together Roxy Music Mott the Hoople and the Dolls,Am I in the range?

from what I understand this band were a big deal in 1975, but sort of got eclipsed by what came in the next few years and now days aint well known by the later generations. is that correct?
@warrogue1798

Probably. I've liked them since the '70s, and they should be better known than they are nowadays.

@@warrogue1798 yeah, I sort of recognized the song title cause Crass and Nina Hagen referenced/covered it. otherwise I'd have no idea who this band are. so to their generation this band were a big deal but obviously it doesnt stand the test of time when you have 'music historians' doing TV documentaries about the 70s cherry picking what musicans they think are relevant to future people. thank god for youtube.
