Born in Puerto Rico. I was raised in the island until I was 12. Left the island in 1998. I cannot wait to take my husband to the island. He is a Southern white country man from the USA who LOVES Puerto Rican food

@@BriksTravelGuides he definitely will be in cloud nine when I finally take him to the island. We would love to do all those hikes but he has flat feet and was born with half the normal amount of sweat glands so I dont know if such excursions would be right for him. I for sure would love to take him anywhere besides San Juan, especially to the pork highway in Guavate.
@BriksTravelGuides

Guavate would be great if he loves food! Hopefully it’s not so busy when you go. If you find that it’s too busy, you can come back down to the pork place near the exit of the highway called Lechonera El Mojito. Their food is great!

My 2 bday trip of the year to PR is coming up close and I appreciate your knowledge. PS. La Casa de Cascadas was amazing and I don’t show many utube videos on this place. Right up the road fro La casa is another beautiful Rio con una chiquita cascada but i forgot the ñame. Im a Cascada seeker. I have still many to explore. Soy Puertorriqueña y súper orgullosa de mi Isla. Don’t forget to inform people how scary the car rides are. Jijiji. Esas curvas con un caril is no joke.

Hello Brik! Thank you for suggesting adjuntas, I would have never heard it if it wasn't because of this video. I have a question I understand this is a two day itinerary, do you think its feasable to cut some activities out and only go to charco del mango, charco el ataud and the monte guilarte? We are staying in aguada and I saw the trip is 2 hours each way. Thank you so much for your amazing content!

Hey John! Thanks for your comment! Can you believe it’s gone down to 57 degrees Fahrenheit during Christmas! 😱🥶 But I love the cold! Wish it would stay at 70 year round.
