God I love Drewmora. This video really is a personal milestone for me because it's the first Drewmora video to come out after i was able to flee the war that has ravaged my country. And this channel has been one of the few things i was able to have with me through it all. This feeling of seeing a new video on my homepage never gets old. "woohooo!" - Some Ayleid somewhere. Also, I don't know if you saw my message about Ithelia or the Bladesongs of Boethra in ESO but WOW does that create some juicy lore and speculation. Any chance we will be blessed with a video about either topic? (I think they're probably both related tho). To add: If the Thalmor wish to unmake reality, what better way than to find out where Ithelia has been placed by Mora and use her to do it. I'm sure there is someone or something remaining who can remind us about Ithelia in the 4th era, but I bet Ithelia is just going to be a one-off by ZOS and Bethesda...which would be lame but oh well...

Maybe. Some of the citizens of Skingrad are clearly aware that they have forgotten something. They just don't know what. And I think it's fair to assume citizens in other places have similar reactions (and that the reason we don't see it in game is simply game design relates). So if they ever wanted to bring her back I'm sure that they could have some powerful mage break through some fragments of the spell. And even if they may not be able to learn everything Gold Road showed. Maybe just knowing that there once was an entity so dangerous Mora banished it to another realm and erased all memory of it would be enough for the Thalmor to set out to uncovering the truth. But I doubt that will happen, and that she'll remain isolated within the Necrom/Gold Road story.

History school drop-out here: so, in terms of cruelty and bloodshed, the Ayleids had nothing on the Mexica (Aztecs) from the... central highlands of what is now Mexico. Look up the scores of people sacrificed, the Tower of Skulls in the Great Temple, the rituals of Xipe Totec, and the original recipe for the local dish: pozole. At least the Ayleids didn't eat their victims, that we know of.

I always liked the idea that Alessia betrayed Pelinal. The only Aylied kings recorded left after Pelinals murder spree were the ones who would become vassal kingdoms. Having the murder hobo pelinal around would have made treaties with Aylieds very difficult. Perhaps he was ambushed by her Aylieds after he was weakened in a deal with Alessia. They get vengeance she gets an end to the war and empress of a new man empire.
