A real drag to hear Bodie being fed up with it, the original concept and ideas were so great.

Lowest profile seat / slide rail is the Porsche 356 GT seat frame (by Fibersteel) that still tilts forward for rear access. Bodie could modify or build his own version for the wider bench seat access.

Bodie, look at how the back seats are in the cars you have laying around where you pushed the bottom seat cushion back about 1/2 inch to release the tabs then pulled the seat up out of the way, even the old VW Bugs have a rear seat that released that way....left lots of room !

Cameras for the front and rear just hide or disguise the screen, I would have mocked the seat height with TA sitting in there, then built the seat frame

Like they said before, hind sight is 20/20. You would have thought someone would have had Tim sit in the car before they decided how much to chop from the top. Maybe it would have been easier to go the route of fitting the motor in the rear and batteries in the engine compartment with just wires connecting the two. They could have flattened the floor and had plenty of room. Too bad they wanted the trans and rear axle to play a part in the build. Modern electric cars just don’t have those parts. Their design is much simpler.

You need to get your facts straight. The car was already chopped when Tim bought the car. It was one of the reasons why he bought it in the first place along with the stance of it. Go back to the start of the entire build and Tim explains this.

What about trying a fowler flap hinge like is used on aircraft. The seat would be able to pivot all the way forward then with no downward deflection. You would only have to put the hinge on upside down.

Poor Bodie. Fixing everthing that doesn't fit or having employees who don't care or give a shit how things are suppose to be done! "YOU FIRED!" "NEXT EMPLOYEE, PLEASE!"

I hope when you're done chopping that seat that the angle doesn't change. I'd hate to have the feeling of leaning forward like I imagine happening if done poorly.

I had a brother in law that chopped the roof on his 67 Corvette. Custom glass ……. It was the first of 20 things that went wrong! That’s why I cringe when I hear those words. Roof chopping should never be considered!

This project is burnt. It started out as Tim's crazy idea/dream, with a true gearhead flavor and attitude. Then it was all but "disinfected" when the new motor/ trans/wiring was installed. It has now reached a level of sterile nothingness with absolutely no heart or soul in it anymore. It just seems like the air in the room has left, now with an attitude of "let's just get it assembled and get it out of here." It seems that no one that is involved with this car (including Tim) has that spark in their giddyup anymore.
