I wasn't sure if i was going to use this footage, but seeing as I'm stuck at home with the Spicy Cough - youtube doesn't like you using the C word, i mayt as well put something together with it.
On my last day off before returning to the corporate world and one of the hottest days of summer in January. I decided to do a quick hike early in the morning before the heat of the day really set in.
It's been a while since i was last at Springbrook National Park and after all the rain, it was a good time to go and revisit the place and check out all the usual waterfalls plus a few extras.
Starting with Purling Brook falls before heading further down the road to Twin Falls. Starting from the Canyon lookout end, it was down to Blackfellow falls first before heading along the Twin Falls circuit and the waterfalls along the way that don't normally flow unless there is a lot of rain down to Twin falls.
By the time i hit Twin falls the heat had really set in for the day so a quick trip down the Warrie Circuit to Rainbow falls and Goomalahra falls before heading back to the start at Canyon lookout and the much needed air conditioning to escape the 40 degree heat of the middle of the day.
