My favourite is the live version off the Join Together album.

Been listening to this since 85 when I rented the VHS of the concert and still have it, first thing I ever ‘stole’ ! From Tim’s jazzy keyboard solo to ‘dress yourself to kill’ at the end this is magic. Entwistle plays amazing on this as he does throughout the concert, he was on top top form and his bass tone is perfect.

John has always brought bass playing to the forefront. He jams his like a damned Les Paul. You could play any it isolated and totally know it's him. Whenever he's mentioned I automatically think of his playing like a madman on the movie version of Acid Queen with Tina Turner wailing away. Yeah, I heard a lot of other musicians were used but there's no damned way anyone can think that's not him playing bass there.

This concert ranks with dire straits Wembley 85 as two of the best concert recordings of all time. Both bands at their live peak

I saw some dude put up a video of the 20 best songs using keyboards/pianos/organs a week ago or so, and after the first ten (some were pretty pedestrian) I started skipping ahead... and sure enough this song wasn't in the video. FAIL. ;l

I love the way they hand Roger a guitar so he can pretend to play, as Pete sings lead, and plays 3 different guitar parts simultaneously!

This must be one of the most un-Who like songs by The Who. A friend of mine called it porn groove music...
