Perhaps the finest live rock'n'roll band of all, in their absolute prime. I never get tired of that "Shakin'..."/"Twist and Shout" segue.

To think that when they wrote this song, the Beatles and Stones were still writing sappy love ballads. Not to take anyway from those bands, but The Who were so ahead of their time. Even in 2009, this song still sounds energetic and refreshing.

People to this day are still getting confused because both The Guess Who AND The Who performed this song. And no, they're not the same group, all you people who are younger than 50 years old.

I agree. The band was over when Keith died. There's a few good tunes on face dances and it's hard but they sound more like Townshend's solo records.

well that's when they fixed it. So if you think about it Keith had to wait that long to get one drum fixed. so for like what 2 songs he had to wait and play through anyways. Amazing.

he was prolly talking to keith cause Keith's right bass drum became damaged or something. If you watch the song "Young Man Blues" from earlier Keith right after the first drum solo in the start of the song points to the bass drum and talks to someone in the back. So probably that.
