Crystalvegansmith, if you know anything about basketball, you’d know with an actual system in place, the turnovers would go down dramatically right? The overall system is asking for her to make needlessly risky passes. And her shooting is objectively fine. Her TS% is perfectly fine, especially for a developing rookie. This isn’t even making excuses for her. I have my criticisms of CC, but one should also call a spade a spade: this offensive system sucks. Or rather, they don’t have one and a young, inexperienced team has no idea what to do with the zero guidance and direction to on they’re given here. If you can’t admit that it’s a multi-faceted issue, you simply aren’t watching.

No doubt! I really think this league has quite a few coaching staffs ripe for replacement. @clarifennell6248 Why is it that you old wnba fans assume that you are the gatekeepers of what good ball is? I have an answer for you: You delight in a game that was played in the 80s. The NBA left that game behind because it was not exciting. Meanwhile, your WNBA never bothered to evolve its game, which lost viewership every year since its inception. People m could see higher quality ball from both the NCAA[M/W] and the NBA. So knock off your smug bullshit and get used to some new and exciting higher quality ball coming to your league. This is now Clark's league, and next season, fans like you who actually don't know what good ball looks like will either assimilate or just go away completely. Which is just fine with us as you all are mostly social justice warriors instead of basketball fans. We've hijacked your shitty league and will improve it over the next ten years without you

The problem is she is a shooting guard WITHOUT a midrange game, lacks physicality, and doesn’t understand the word defense let alone how to do it. This is not her fault though. I blame ALL of her selfish previous coaches for allowing her to just shoot logo threes because it brought in ratings and won them games in college. Coach Blunders biggest blunder was not teaching and preaching to Clark how important it will be for her to cultivate her midrange game AND allowing Clark to be a pg. Defense is EFFORT and they lack the hell out of it... Blaming the coach for THEM not guarding their man... I'd sub their asses out in an attempt to motivate them to play harder... @@liia9736 That's what I've been saying. This last game against the Aces was just awful. They need to just use Clark, Mitchell, and Samuelson's 3 point ability. Put pressure on the other team to keep up.. that's how Iowa does it/did it with Caitlin.

Didn't the Fever just trade a great defensive player? Clearly the GM does not value defense. I think a great defender is more motivated to learn how to score than a great offensive player is motivated to play great defense. 🤣🤣🤣

I don't understand why these coaches aren't teaching what you are explaining here. I am guessing that they know but don't know how to teach it. Knowledge is one thing but transferring that knowledge to another or others is not so easy. The staff obviously does not know how to communicate to the players and I agree with you they are ruining this team it is so hard to watch. It doesn't look like there's any intention of getting rid of this staff but they should!!
