Hi noname. Olive oil is included in this presentation as a seed or vegetable oil. And olive oil contains omega6, which is treated here as a poison. No mention of onega3-6 ratio. Drs couldn't work out what had me limping, crippled in pain, at one stage even considering it might be cancer. Well, the next day and all following days I HAVE NO PAIN!! If I accidentally consume seed/vegetable oil my hip plays up within a few hours. I also have a gluten intolerance so i was susceptible to having stomach complaints even though I ate no gluten. Yeah in the 70s my mom cooked with lard. We were all thin, these days both me and my brother are fat with diabetes and parents are dead (both parents, mom of heart failure). I'm newly diagnosed with diabetes, I've been eating crap food for the last 10 years due to severe and debilitaing dep, and not having a kitchen, I fully believe this is why I got diab. I used to eat extremely healthy when I was married, I'd cook all our food, I had a gourmet stove and beautiful kitchen, thanks to divorce I ended up losing everything. Building myself back up now on my own. I'm so glad I found this, I'm going to change all of it completely, and go back to basics and how I was raised and cut out all the label foods. I actually love and adore cooking, now I have an excuse to do all my own cooking and now I know how to take care of myself without killing myself unknowingly. I'm so thankful for this video.

He also advises, if you must food shop in a grocery store, stick to the outer perimeter and stay out of the interior aisles because those are where all the highly processed foods are found. In the 1st 5 min, the numbers show that the question to ask is “what changed in the decades after the mid 80’s?” - Sedentary lifestyle due to computers, video games, internet. -More stressful lifestyles -Convenience/ processed foods with high sugar, seed oils, artificial ingredients, contaminated with pesticides. -Vaccine manufacturers are given blanket liability protections for their mandated products

The only part of this presentation I have trouble with is the sugar consumption being flat since 1922. I am 75 years old and there is a huge amount of processed sugar ladened foods that have entered the market place since my youth. Sugar laden beverages and breakfast products alone have markedly increased in availability and consumption.

Nothing wrong with most of those compounds. The sugar/sucrose itself is the harmful part. Acetic acid is just what vinegar is essentially, hydrochloric acid is what stomach acid consists of etc...

The most surprising thing for me was the instant I stopped eating seed oils, I started sleeping like a baby. If I eat at a restaurant with family/friends, I can't sleep and feel terrible afterwards. I guess we just got used to feeling like garbage all the time and thought it was normal.

Extra virgin olive oil is the only one to keep. It’s a cold pressed fruit juice, not processed. And the oil comes mainly from the flesh of the olive not the seed, but polyphenols yes. Just remember to preserve it from light air and heat, and consume it before it turns rancid

The problem with a lot of EVOO is it's frequently adulterated, cut with seed oils (the package won't say so either). best bet is getting EVOO from a single country of origin

@ Mike-Al Checked EVOO label in my cupboard. Date stamp includes two countries: Spain and Argentina. Question now is to believe label stating 100% olive oil or to toss disbelieving 100% claim. I’ll choose my 100% avocado oil dressing for now.

Living in Spain I don't face that problem, but indeed in the US, it's terrible. Olive oil fraud exists for a long time even if it's better now. The problem is that the US are not part of the IOC (International Olive Oil Concil) that provides stricts regulations and controls. In the US, the brand Graza seems to provide a good product from Spain at fair price.

NOT ME! I use a good quality oil plus Im now also using Grass Fed Ghee which can also be used for frying. Ive also got coconut oil for mainly oil pulling. My kitchen now has very little or less 'rubbish foods'! I have Himalayan salt but dont use it much. My salad dressing now consists of my own mixed the good olive oil & Organic Apple Cider Vinegar (w 'Mother'). Its my EVERYTIME salad dressing. It may sound boring but better Safe than Sorry plus I really enjoy it!

Great topic! I have been going to a natural doctor/chiropractor since 1987 when i was 26 and thankfully i learned that vegetable oils were not good so i mainly tried to stay away, but we all love going out and having sinful foods occasionally and I'm sure i have my share of omega 6 crap seed oils in my body, but this video I think will change the 20% of the way I eat anymore. So many good health recipes out there that we didn't need to eat this garbage. Thanks again

Dr. Knobbe's statement was a nail. "One of the simplest ways may be to just not buy anything with a lable." Joe Weider, the body building coach said, "When you go into the grocery store, go right or left but stick to the perimeter. This is where the real food is located."

You are incorrect. In the 60's and 70's we relied a lot on canned food. It all contained sugar. At home we had lots of jam, syrup and cake and several spoons of sugar in tea was standard. People asked 'how many sugars' you wanted in your tea. Now they ask IF you want sugar. As children we ate a LOT of sweets.
