Definitely agree though I did find some of the talk about how divers (cave divers sure) are familiar with drowning and know it as a possible risk to not really be my experience Personally I don't dive very deeply and never in caves so the risk of drowning has always seemed pretty minimal to me

Except he obviously didn’t research to much about actual cave diving. 300’ without trimix for that time - they’d all be pretty much dead. It would’ve taken them HOURS (depending how much time they actually spent at that depth - which any diver would keep track of) to get back to the surface needing several back up tanks to account for the decompression.

Holy shit... that story was incredible, the narration was on point, and the World building with increasing suspense was amazing! That little bit at the end where Rick's voice fused with the rest of the creature was an incredible touch! The voice acting was incredible as well, I'm pushing carts at Walmart right now but I felt like I was right there with them in the caves! My favorite aspect of the story is just how lovecraftian everything is, telling you only what you need to know while leaving the rest up to interpretation or just a complete mystery.

I don't believe the author of that one has posted a continuation yet. There are some prequels though, called "The part of the deep web we weren't supposed to see," "My friend has been living in an alternate reality," and "I'm a SWAT officer who was sent to investigate an incident at a middle school." Each besides the first are of similar length, and "Alternate Reality" is my personal favorite story I've ever heard narrated by any of the narrators on youtube, besides maybe "The Church In The Woods" and "The Ouroboros Cycle." Hell, I'd say it's one of my top 5 favorite stories of all time.

Ahhh... um.. sir? ACTUALLY... It was ONE hour and twenty-one minutes and some change to be exact, quite FAR, from the previously mentioned "two" hours you proclaimed. Perhaps it was simply an over exaggeration of your perception on what is to be considered adequate but not over-the-top, yet still somewhat comparable to the original reference. It isnt. Therefore, you would do well to remove this incorrect simplification of what you find inconsequential, and nothing more, as you found no reason to RESPECT the probable possibilities

Wow- this was an incredible story and a fantastic production. I listened to this while working on a series of paintings about the merging of nature and humanity, so listening to a story with similar themes was such a cool coincidence. Longtime fan of your work, but this might be my all time favorite!
