My father didn’t do this but from what I’ve heard, he used custody exchange times to further abüse her and, despite me reporting my own abüse and obviously not wanting to be around him, the courts still forced us to be in that situation and in fact actually scolded her one time for supposed parental alienation or something. Happy to say that I’m 19 now and he’s blocked from both of our phones and can’t get her alone to threaten her anymore

My stalker was my birth mother/monster who stalked me for decades after I severed ties with her completely when I was 30. I lived 350 mi. away, moved several times but it was no detriment to her stalking, stalking by proxy, Institutional Harassment/Abuse, ambushing me at my home etc. The only mediator on her behavior was *what she thought she could get away with* in her campaign of terror. Completely void of conscience, she had nothing but time and access to virtually unlimited financial resources and used those “professional stalkers” called private investigators to ensure I knew strange men were following me. *This went on for decades until her physical death.* There were no Stalking Laws at the time or I would have used them. This is why there is NO DNA exemption for Stalking. Abusive parents need to be prosecuted and not be swayed by the label “mother.” The label is not the person. We should be afforded the same protections others take for granted.

I met my stalker when I was thirteen, so basically a child. He was in and out of my life for maybe 2 years. When I was sixteen I stupidly began a relationship with him, remember I was still a child, and I gave my virginity to him. It was the worst mistake of my life, as now I belonged to him and him alone. I will not bore you with all of the stalking that occurred over the next 40 years but now I am 57 and live in another country and yes he is still stalking me! He even moved to the Country I now live in but it is a large country and he has no idea where I live Well I now accept that I know he has no real hold over me and 6 months ago I finally stopped being afraid. I blocked and reported him so, so many times on social media but he just set up accounts in different names and attempted to be my friend or a friend of my real friends. I asked them not accept any new surprising friend requests and I haven´t heard from him since. I am not gullible enough to believe that he won´t stop but now that I involved my "on line" friends I have cut off his most potent Hydra head.

Unfortunately some people put themselves in these situations all on their own. This could have been preventable from the very FIRST red flag. I am terrified how a victim is not being believed. I did a couple therapy once, w/ my partner, I was emotionally drained, and he was smooth and calm, I was too defensive, he was calm and apologetic - for me and my "behavior". I could not find right words , while he was a smooth slow talker putting each word carefully in place, lying. The therapist took his side, in the matter of minutes, and there were two against one in the room, and this fact completely knocked me down - there is no exit, no help I thought. Something is very wrong WITH ME, I thought. I was loosing my mind, and everyone pretended that it is completely normal for one just loose mind.

This woman is incredibly brave to share her story, and her face on KZitem. I think it's awfully easy to sit in front of a screen casting judgment on a stranger while declaring what you THINK you would or wouldn't do in that situation. The truth is nobody knows until it's them. Not only did she share her story but she went to the police, and court to make sure there was a record of his behavior which in turn protected other women from being harmed. Unless you've personally opened yourself up to the kind of retraumatization, scrutiny and victim blaming that sharing this type of trauma brings about...you should probably take several seats and think about the fact that you're literally trying to tear down a woman that lived a nightmare. She's so much more courageous than most people will ever be.

If you haven’t experienced it, then you literally have zero idea how it affects the victims. You feel like you’re a hostage and there’s an actual captor holding a ġůñ to your temple. Although comparing the two types of fear is like comparing apples and oranges, the level of their respective fears are monumental. One more thing. The people in her town that were so nasty and cruel need to be ashamed of themselves. Not just the people behind their keyboards; the police, firefighters, anybody above his head at the school he coached for. Lastly, and just as importantly- *shame on the ones who didn’t speak up even when they knew they should.*
