On our way to Indonesia to go diving we normally stop over in Singapore for a day or two to acclimatize - and I've grown to like the place. Very interesting blog. I liked the question on getting blisters by walking 45kms! The Indian paramilitary force called BSF or Border Security Force found a unique way to avoid getting blisters. They were using heavy ammunition boots not modern footware. The secret was to wash your woolen socks with old fashioned soap and not rinse out all the soap! Dry it in the sun. While walking, the soap particles that remain in tbe socks, work like a lubricant and your skin does not rub off!

Hiking by 35 °C is quite extrem. You should hike with your children and wife when it is cooler. For example summer time on Usedom/Ruegen or spring/ autumn time region Hinterzarten/ Freiamt/ Staufen/ Chiemgau/Fulda/Widen/Zell am See/Engelberg/Lenzerheide/Graz/Munich/ between Bern and Thun/ Zug or example....

Or even a very early hiking trip to Bhutan's famous "Tiger's Nest" or locally known as Paro Taktsang if u can, caus' me and my mum did it last year (about 2 months before covid happened in china).., lots of horse & donkey shit (manure) at the bottom of the very steep dusty trail to the top, (There's even a rest stop halfway up to the top, nice food there too..) Very tiring but worth a try if u can..^^

Just out of curiosity, you couldn't have captured all the critters activities in one visit, right ? Regardless, it was very well mixed into your Q&A session. Looking forward to more info/edu/entertaining clips from you soon ! Last but not least, CONGRATS on your subscription achievement and i wish you and all in your family, good health and happiness always ! PS.
