You are AWESOME! ( I worked at Fotomat, as a Fotomate! A glass & tin box that sat on a tall concrete island so it wouldn't flood or break loose & float away across the parking lot. ( Under the tin roofing & sandwiched between the inner & outer tin walls was solid styrofoam 'CAKE' ! well the roof bit was more of an elongated pyramid but point being it was great SOUND PROOFING! )SO many times I rocked out in there & TH's & TB52's sounded So damned good in that little glass box , elevated upon its concrete pedestal & armored & buffered by the sound of the heat/air unit ,the crisp tin & the Sun's shrill stare down being magnified enough some times that items in the window display would steam after rain had been running down the outside of it for a while in a happy manner not unlike her little 'I'm a happy little funking bassist & don't you dare funk me off MAN'!!!

Tina Weymouth is a genius and so is her husband. Tina comes from a hugely respectable line of aristrocats. He grandfather and mother, father and sister are hugely important people. At one point they may have owned the Washington Post and there’s a Navy Admiral in her family. She is raw American, raw talent and a pioneer woman in rock.

Exactly, plus a lot musicians end up in bands where they don’t really get to showcase the full potential of their talent. She rocks and is the perfect bassist for the Talking Heads.

@@MrTigerlore Your opinion is valid for you and I respect it, in my opinion that dance is not a good thing, music is invisible, you can't see it, you can see the written representation on paper or computer screen, you can see people perform music but you can't see sound waves. MTV ruined music as an art form by confusing and brainwashing the public into thinking it's a visual medium, costumes, stupid hairstyles, and dancing has never, ever improved the sound of music and in my opinion has been detrimental to the quality of music by the public being propaganda -ized by marketing.

Yeah, Talking Heads aren't just an Art Rock band, they're THE Art Rock band. The entire show was choreographed and stage blocked to evoke weird feelings and play with standard conceptions of performance and behavior. I don't understand wtf this guy can't get that... he must just hunt clips without context. I've tolerated him showing up on my shorts feed, even though he doesn't add much and the 'behs' bit wasn't funny the first time, but I've had enough.
