at 5:00 IIRC this is the cord/plug for a LS-120 drive for the mac (competitor to the zip drive) The drives could read ls-120 discs as well as regular 3.5 in floppies, which was convenient for the imac which did not have a floppy drive.

Some people like to buy the same stuff they had. So when it breaks or they lose it, they are willing to pay for the same item regardless how old it is. You just need to find that person. That's what ebay is for.

Exactly. I had been looking a long time for the same crappy keyboard that came with my stock PC. I used the same couple of keys so much that they ended up sanded down and wouldn't register properly when pushed. It was old so no longer sold in stores or online. Ebay didn't have the one I needed either. I browsed the keyboard section of my local thrift shops for a couple of months and ended up finding one BRAND NEW in the box. That made my day. No joke, I was as happy to find that piece of junk as if I found a 100$ item to flip on Ebay. People(like me... 😅) can be weird about their old stuff.

So right. I worked with a guy who used the same Rubbermaid lunchbox for like 25 years until it was thoroughly worn out. They no longer made that model and he was obsessed with having another of the same. To the point that he even emailed Rubbermaid to see if they still had the molds and wanted to try to buy them to make another. I managed to find him one on ebay that was some commemorative one for some football game. It was new, even though it was like 25 years old. He paid around $100 for it when he could have had a current, similar model for like $20. The man knew what he wanted and was willing to pay to have it.

1:01:49 The AGFA ePhoto Smile, one of the first sub-$100 digital cameras (when on sale.) Memory was all internal, I think the data transfer cable had a DB-9 plug, not USB. So good luck getting your photos off if you're missing the cable. Though it did have a composite out, so that's one way if you don't mind the quality loss. And yep, not worth anything.

UNTIL, HAD TO REWRITE :-( Price for One Gig storage is all over the place, mostly Amazon free shipping. $125, $200 ... BUT 2 Gig is $80, $90, $135 !!!
